I have never felt such solidarity and pride with Seth when he yelled “YOU TAKE THE BUS MFER”
  • daily reminder: trump isn't arguing he's innocent, he's arguing he has the right to be a criminal
  • @jonlivesley
Big respect to Seth for refusing to call Twitter X. Big respect to Seth in general. He's a real one.

As a pregnant woman in WI, Arizona is setting a dangerous precedent for my state. Our state Supreme Court is also going to be ruling on an outdated anti-abortion law from 1894, and could easily use the Arizona ruling to do the same here in WI. Right now, elective abortions are available in WI until week 22. I am currently 19 weeks along. After week 22, I would have to be literally dying to receive a medically necessary abortion. This is information given to me by my obgyn. I wanted more children after this but will be opting for surgical sterilization instead. It's simply too dangerous to be pregnant in the current political climate.
  • You know what's more pro-choice than leaving it up to the states? Leaving it up to the individuals!
  • @dmercury292
Only Republicans can travel back in time to 1864 to enact a law in 2024. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  • I wish that people in Arizona could watch this but unfortunately TV and the internet have not yet been invented as it is 1864 in Arizona

It’s more than abortion rights. It’s the right between drs and patients. It’s protection of rights for women and girls.
  • Imagine having to take a bus for 100’s of miles while in pain, or possibly even dying with a nonviable pregnancy. Only a man would say it’s no big deal.
  • @Mr.Zen_73
always knew Republicans wanted to take the US back to the 60s, didn't realize it was the 1860s!
  • @rishnarula
When Seth said "Then you take the bus MF!" I felt that. Closer Look and Seth never disappoint!

Seth was fired up on this, and I'm here for it.

Voting is like driving a car: Vote R to go backwards, vote D to go forward.
  • My god, a law from before woman could vote? " Don't worry, we're working on that too ". This country has officially fallen down a rabbit hole.
  • @Chejo3
Now if only the mainstream media would report on this issue like Seth just did.
  • @gt9359
Metaphorically blocking the toilet then yelling for someone else to fix it is literally his whole life.
  • @Adam.Langton
Mark Simone Saying "They can just buy a bus ticket" reeeeeeally goes to show that he thinks taking away reproductive choice is something that will only affect poor people, and therefore, he doesn't care.
  • @isaacbrown4506
It's always bothered me the most when women support taking away other women's bodily autonomy whole heartedly.
  • Thank you, Seth Meyer. You helped me understand what people say vs. what they do. As my grandmother used to say, "Watch their feet, not their lips."
  • @FusionDeveloper
The irony of anti-choice people wanting THEIR choice to be the law. "People shouldn't be allowed to choose. I choose to not be allowed to choose and MY CHOICE "to not be allowed to choose" should be forced on everyone". It's equivalent to people voting to remove the right to vote.
