I love it when these birds start muttering to themselves. Like everyone else is a total idiot and they just can't even.

In case anyone was curious about love birds putting things underneath their wings. This is their normal behavior for nest building. They carry material underneath a wing.
  • Just so people know, that one bird (cockatiel) that "burped," it did not. It was popping it's ears and they voiced in the burp. Cockatiels do not have a deep mimic voice, it's very high pitched and whistley.
  • that cockatoo with the xylophone... man that one got me in my heart πŸ˜‚

These are amazing creatures. My sisters cockatiel was in a shoe box in the rear of a Greyhound bus for a 12 hour trip necessitated by a mid trip auto accident. At the end of the trip the bird had added a completely new vocalization to it's repertoire. It replicated, identically the sound of a deisel motor spooling up and down the gear changes. Remarkable and comical.

I LOVED it when the birds were making feather wigs for themselves πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Makes me remember our Nanday. She would get under stuff and wait till someone walked by and then run out to surprise them. She also played dead to trick my husband.
