Fun fact: most characters in this story are named after biblical characters famous for committing a sin that deserved Gods wrath. Just some food for thought.
-
As a spine, that line “who have I been atheist to” sent actual prayers down my shivers.

"Nothing is worth the risk", feels a lot like how many people refuse to mess with Ouija Boards or rituals or supposed haunted places. Even if they don't believe in ghosts or demons...it's just not worth the risk.
-
Some people give out candy for Halloween. Wendigoon rants about hypothetical demons for 3 hours. I'll take it.

Honestly the scariest part about the Mandela catalog for me was when I was home alone at night and the intruder at the end of volume 1 appeared and my dog looked at it for as long as it was onscreen then looked at me then walked over to the hallway and stared down it tbh I was worried

1:13:30 I actually find the idea of a crowd of demons outside Mark’s door having casual conversation like intermission at a show kinda hilarious. Like… “Oh hey Bob, didn’t think I’d see you here. Get a load of this guy eh? Think he’s gonna open the door tonight? I hope so, I’ve had these tickets for months! Anyway, how’s the wife and kids?” ”Ahh y’know, I wanted to bring my youngest here with me, but the Mrs started nagging me about how it’s ‘too early’ and ‘bad for his development’ yaddayaddayadda. Ya believe that crap? I was in diapers when I watched my old man torture his first soul and look at me, I turned out just fine! I tell ya, kids these days are too soft.”

Man just came back from his honeymoon, gave us multi-hour long livestreams, then gives us a multi-hour long video on the Mandela Catalogue Iceberg Boy is absolutely insane. Thanks, dad.

As a Christian myself, the very thought of coming face to face with a demon from hell, and to not be able to pray for help from Christ since a similar entity has overthrown and essentially replaced Christ, and now is on the other end of the line holding the phone, is absolutely terrifying and my testimony to the effectiveness of the horror of this series. Well done Alex

my toxic trait is thinking i could beat MAD knowing damn well the slightest inconvenience makes me question if living is worth it, let alone psychological warfare
-
Another extremely small detail is that in the phone call between Adam/Jonah and the “cat lady”, Jonah says “we can come tonight” and the lady says “can you do three?” This implies that the caller was an alternate who accidentally comprehended “tonight” as “two night”
-
“If that many kids went missing wouldn’t like, the military… or Batman get involved?” This is why we love you Wendigoon
-
Wendigoon isn’t pregnant but he never fails to deliver
-
Adam - the first man. Adam - the first demon to redeem himself and become an angel again.
-
my personal belief on the "crowd" of people outside mark's room is that the alternates are trying to simulate conversation, a commotion, in an attempt to make it seem like they have left, and regular people are back in the home, and they're hoping to lure him out to see who all is speaking outside his room.

"Who have i been praying to" Im an atheist. I am not religious at all. But that sentence is the most horrifying concept ive ever heard. It sent literal shivers up my spine when i first really contemplated it.
-
Man, schizophrenia has contributed A LOT to the horror genre

18:26 "So I turn it on, at night, by myself..." uh oh, bad decision, Wendigoon
