What do you love most about the Ghostbuster's Franchise and what drives you crazy? Do you want more Ghostbusters in the future? And as a correction, we did not include Extreme Ghostbusters. It should have been mentioned here, but was not. Our apologies! Also, here is our one of a kind Ray's Occult Ghostbuster's inspired Graphic Design from the video >> mixedtees.com/rays-occult - Use coupon code: THEPOPCAST for 20% off!

That is a great documentary. I had fun watching it. You did a wonderful job summarizing the whole Ghostbusters history.

hearing about how hard it was for the original movie to get green lit and the other hardships that came with the development of the film makes me appreciate the film even more on top of it just being a straight up classic. Awesome documentary!

I loved it as a kid & still do at 50. What more can I say? I'm like a kid in a candy store when a new one comes out!
  • The soundtracks of the first two Ghostbuster movies were both childhood favorites of mine, featuring Oingo Boingo, Fine Young Cannibals, two insanely catchy Bobby Brown songs, "I Can Wait Forever," the iconic theme music, and others. We had the first one on record, and the second on cassette, and both were a treat.

More Ghostbusters!!! By the original family and friends cast members! I personally hated Ghostbusters 2016 for a reason! I was 10 years old when I watched the original 1984 movie. It's been apart of my life. Well done on such a great video!!!! Seriously you kept me engaged from the beginning. I learned a lot from this. BM either saved it or killed it tbh. At least he came back for afterlife and Frozen Empire. Better late than never!!! As they say.❤

I remember running to my mum and very proudly saying “mum!! I didn’t get scared this time” 😂 this movie is my childhood

My favourite cinema experience. I went with a few friends for the first Saturday matinee at the Odeon. There were thousands turned up for a few hundred seats. The foyer was packed but we managed to get in. Still nowhere near the ticket booth we gave the smallest guy our money and sent him crawling along the floor to get the tickets. He got there just before the police arrived to control the crowd. In the theatre the film started and the place was buzzing. As soon as Ray Parker Jr started to sing so did everyone else. About halfway through the song the film was stopped. The manager came to the front and demanded we all calm down and stop or he wouldn't restart the film. Needless to say a lot of popcorn got wasted on him. He gave up and we carried on singing. I have never seen so much excitement for a film and it didn't disappoint.
  • Awesome job guys!! This was right up there with Galaxy Quest, my fav by you guys, so far. Great work!!

🤗Shane, great job. This should be a Blu-ray extra.

The original Ghostbusters may be my favorite movie ever. When I was a kid, my mom somehow got passes when it was released. We weren’t “living-hand-to-mouth” poor, but we didn’t have money for extras like going to first-run movies in a theatre. So when she got those passes, it was just me and her going to have this movie experience together (my dad stayed home with my little brother), and it’s the greatest movie memory of my childhood. I will love the original Ghostbusters forever.

Ernie Hudson is 78 looking like he’s in his 40s. Love him!!
  • @tolanstout
    The Miller-Meteor ad you showed was for a 1958 Cadillac - not a '59.
  • This video is a big bull of awesome!! How many hours of work went into producing this? Brilliant!
  • @rorymurray256
I enjoyed this. But I wish you would've mentioned the late Michael Gross. He had been Art Director for National Lampoon Magazine and also designed the iconic Ghostbusters logo.

My earliest memories involved being in the back of a station wagon a driving movie theater and you were not even alive then.
