The difference between Johnny Lawerence and John Kreese is that Johnny realized when he'd gone too far Kreese learnt nothing

The problem with this series is that you never know which side you are on
  • Miguel mom looked like she was unsure to be happy for her son winning she has that expression bc she has never saw her son like that or any form of aggression

Robbie bowing at the end was such a nice gesture, really shows his character.

Johnny's reaction at the end was so powerful. He's a good man. He learned that sportsmanship is important. He didn't want his pupil to make the same mistakes he made.

“there’s nothing dirty about winning sensei, you taught me that.” intense villain music starts playing

I love how Miguel says "No Mercy" to Johnny. It shows that he not only learned the motto of Cobra Kai, but it was a massive sign to his sensei that Miguel was becoming just like him.
  • It’s crazy how Robby showed respect to Miguel by trying to help him up yet Miguel went for his arm, but in season 2 Miguel ended up respecting Robby by letting him go saying sorry and Robby so full of anger kept fighting him until he fell, it really shows you that Miguel and Robby could honestly been cool with each other, but the heat of the moment always gets to them

Hawk really should have called out, "Get him a body bag. Yeaaaah!"

Did you see Johnny’s face he didn’t want anyone to make the same mistake he did
  • Season 1: miguel doesn’t accept Robbys hand Season 2: Robby doesn’t accept Miguel’s apology

I felt bad for robby cause he was actually a good kid in he just had a rough life. Even when he tried to do good, he goes backwards. I hope he'll be in season 4 and even be friends with his rivals

I don't care what anyone says; Miguel is the best character. Seeing his arc and how he went from good to misunderstood was great. Especially in contrast to Robby's arc of going bad to good.

I am still rooting for Miguel. He's a good kid at heart. He just got a bit too aggressive.

Anyone else felt emotional after Miguel dedicated his trophy to his sensei? What a proud moment that was! But bittersweet coz Johnny couldnt fully enjoy his victory because he was worried about his son too 😔

3:15 that dramatic chime in the theme when Miguel says no mercy really puts into perspective of how Johnnys feeling, as if this is all his doing. He made a monster.

That awkward moment when the underdog becomes the a'hole and the a'hole becomes the underdog.

I support Johnny & Miguel because they feel the most human and relatable. Miguel didn't learn Cobra Kai karate to get back at anyone: he just wanted to defend himself and his friends from merciless bullies. Johnny didn't try to steer Miguel wrong: he taught Miguel the only way he knew how (the same way he was taught). Even with this ending, I am more invested in Johnny and Miguel BECAUSE of their flaws. Because it is totally understandable that people who have been victimized would want to confront a brutal world with strength, and strength is hard to keep in check. I just hope that the writers don't turn Miguel into a stock villain -- because he is not a villain, just a kid who is doing everything he was taught to do by a man he respects.

I like how Robby bows to Miguel at the end of the match.
