As a beekeeper I recommend to buy your honey from your local farmers market. Never from Costco or other grocers as they are all heated and filtered. Do not worry about crystallization of your pure honey. One teaspoon per day should be the max.

As a nurse working in a hospital in the north west of Australia, we always used honey to build tissue in leg ulcers. After the wound was clean we would fill it with honey and the tissue would quickly begin to grow back. Nothing else worked as well as pure raw honey.

20 years ago i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, RA and lupus. I was recommended pain medication which i refused. I did my research and although i did not have too many bad eating habits, i changed my entire diet. I quit sugar, pasta, processed food, no more sodas, coffee, dely products and whole milk. I started eating raw vegetables and fruits with antioxidants, i started having honey every day and lemonades during the day. I am now 62 years old and healthy like when i was 25. I see sugar and processed foods as a number one enemy and i defeated them by saying "no more!"

My mother is 98 years old, what she eats everyday is 1-2 eggs a day, drinks tea every morning wifh a teaspoonfull honey and she has not been sick for years even when we travelled and it was -12 degrees centigrade She was prediabetic , liking sweets and putting suger in her tea, when she was told, she changed from suger to honey and she does not look back, she is not IR and shd does not have diabetes either. I can not explain it, but I know most certainly honey works, she has never been constipated or overweight

We have been a beekeepers for the past 30 years, having them as pets 😉 They are the best! They don't ask for much, but give a lot!! 2-3 beehives produce enough honey for the family, relatives and friends! We have never sold any, but share and gift our loved ones with it, because we have plenty. Even our dog loves honey!! The only heartbreaking thing is when the neighbours spray their trees with the poison - it kills a lot of our bees as well. The ignorance of people is astounding! We have given honey to the neighbours in the past, but they continue to spray, because of the law, they say... Even in the years, when all the bees are killed, we buy the new nucs (nucleus hives) to start over! The cost is $250 now and going up, because the bees are slowly disappearing from the planet, due to the extermination by sprays and toxicity in the environment. The most dangerous predator in nature is a human, indeed.

Real, raw, unpasturized honey is the only food that can potentially last forever. My great uncle used to be a bee-keepr and long after he'd passed (20+ years) we were still eating this yummy honey. I wish I still had this particular honey, so incredibly good.

Large spoon of raw honey, half a spoon of grinded cinnamon and half squeezed lemon with luke warm 400ml of water first thing in the morning every day helped me in 3 years to clear an autoimune disease I had for ten years.(I am not going to disclose which disease please do not ask). I also am the same weight, 21BMI with no change whatsoever. Sleeping healhty 7h a day, overall feeling heathy and energetic at 42y

I started keeping bees for my wife's flowers. We live high up the valley where nobody uses chemicals. Honey was an afterthought and what a pleasant surprise we had when the bees had surplus honey in their hive. We have a lot of wild garlic in our woods and the honey produced has just a little zing to it. Everyone loves it.

As beekeepers, bless you for making this video showcasing the miraculous work of the honey bees! It’s an incredibly difficult hobby, and we are up against nature and (moreover) mankind’s destruction. But we keep on keeping on because it’s so needed for life in the world!

This doctor needs to be cloned and put into every medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about health. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos ... I respect this man immensely. 🙏👍
  • I've never seen a video like this, where a presentation is made to identify, and then evaluate the nutritional content of a single (natural, unprocessed) food. Quite remarkable. Thank you, Dr. Ekberg.
  • I moved from South FL to North FL and developed seasonal allergies for the first time. I started raw local wildflower honey and saw the biggest difference! I exercise 6days a week, and walk 3miles daily in addition. I eat 90 % organically, mostly plant based but not 100%. (wild caught salmon, organic free range eggs) Thank you for the informative video on honey Dr Ekberg!

When my family and I moved to AZ, both my son and I were quite allergic to the local flora. I bought some local "mesquite honey" and we consumed it daily in tea for an entire year, and our allergies reduced significantly over time without having to resort to pharmaceutical antihistamines. Now we barely suffer from any allergies.
  • @ohmyhellx
I used honey topically on a very bad burn from a steam iron transfering heat on metal to my leg in 2020 (I brand-ironed myself!). The internet led me to this remedy - it was hard to be seen in urgent care due to the pandemic, so I took a chance. The 8 inch area completely healed - it was stunning - I have zero scars and plenty of photos to prove it. Honey is mind-blowing!
  • My uncle Jim took a spoonful of honey everyday and was NEVER sick. He was a heavy smoker but was also very physically active. His diet was neither super healthy or unhealthy - he ate, and still does well into his 80s, meat, veg, breads, etc..,a very typical Scottish/Irish/Canadian diet. Now in later life he still does a lot of walking, has maintained a healthy weight, shows no signs of forgetfulness and still swears by his spoonful of honey every day!!☺️
  • @marwerno
About the Allergies: To make it work, I heard you should only use LOCAL produced honey, which makes sense, since these are what you are exposed to locally and within the honey including the local pollens, this is what you need to build resistance against.
  • @mikerepairsstuff
Thank you Dr. Sten Ekberg People really do not know just how difficult it is to produce a video as good as this one is.
  • @BertJaico
I had eczema and pretty much other siblings in our family. Our dear late father had it but not our dear mom. Anyways, since I don’t use granular sugar anymore and I came to use honey for at least 7 years now, my eczema no longer bothers me. And every time I ate something sweetened by sugar, I get the rash. Just sharing my experience.
  • @AKATONA1953
We used to be great honey consumers with my wife. After having enough convincing info on it, we quit that habit for good 2 years ago. The changes it brought about are immensely positive. You are our best advisor, Dr. Ekberg.
