Bledsoe: "Kind of guy who will be around forever" you jinxed it Drew.
  • Imagine if Jerry Jones had shown his head coach the same level of respect as Kraft showed Belichick...

Drew wasn't alone. Nobody in 2000 thought Brady was anything but a backup.
  • Drew must be an incredible person. What a sensational attitude he has = respect to him as a person

I love Drew Bledsoe. He was a really good QB, helping bring credibility to the franchise. Definitely showed a lot of class when he was told he wasn't getting the starting job back. He did mentor Tom early in his career. I can't thank him enough for what he did for the Pats while I was growing up.

Drew Bledsoe, One of the very few men to ever play this sport that I admire more for what he did off the field, How can any one not respect this man that held his head high and took it like a Man’s man. Much respect to the real Drew Bledsoe.

Drew showed character at the toughest moment in his life...Massive respect...Character, something so missing today!

For us Patriots fans, this video is awesome. Bledsoe is almost as beloved as Brady in New England. He never brought us a Lombardi, but his impact will never be forgotten.

As a Raider fan im thankful i got to watch Tom brady. There will never be another player thats drafted that late and becomes the face of the NFL. Gotta appreciate Greatness. Should be in HOF the day he Retires.
  • Living in MA as a kid, that 2001 season was the greatest thing I have ever seen in sports. Still remember it to this day.
  • Poetic how Bledsoe declined the "sour grapes' and instead chose to produce fine wine.

Whether he realizes it or not, Drew Bledsoe paved the way for the ultimate success of Tom Brady. Everything could have turned out so different if not for Drew's professionalism and sportsmanship. Drew was a force of motivation and a great benefit to Tommy. Much respect and reverence for Drew!!

Bro imagine being a first overall pick then later on you get replaced by a 6th round pick who becomes the Goat😭(I’m not downing Bledsoe at all it’s just insane to me how that happened)
  • I still find it unbelievable what happened with Brady. It's like some story from a fantastical sports movie. Guy nobody wants, gets passed until the sixth round of the draft, gets a chance to play, earns the starting position, goes on a crazy win streak, wins the Super Bowl that year, then goes on to become the greatest of all time and keeps winning SBs over and over and over until the age of...

I’m a Vikings fan and I started watching the Pats in 2007 when my all-time favorite, Randy Miss joined the team! Since the. I’ve been a Brady fanatic! He is the ultimate GOAT and no one can convince me otherwise. Tom is not only the GOAT but a great man in general. He will always be remembered in my heart ❤️
  • Huge respect for Bledsoe. The man has characture. So refreshing these days. .

Miss Brady in a Pats Jersey but 20 years of greatness and 6 super bowl wins and many many exciting moments he gave us will forever mean so much to Patriots nation. He owes us nothing. He is the greatest of all time and it's not even close. Drew Bledsoe definitely deserves some credit for giving the Patriots hope again and being an absolute class act after a series of unfortunate events that was out of his control. There's plenty NFL divas who would've thrown a hissy fit but Drew handled it with class. Great guy. Both Drew and Tom will always have a place in Patriot Nation's heart.
  • What people forget is Tom Brady got hurt in the AFC Championship Game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh and Bledsoe came in - and saved the day. He earned his SB ring.

Drew never said that about Brady. he thought it to himself...Big Difference. Drew set the bar on how to react to being dumped in the middle of the dance. There should be an award named for him based on his selflessness. We sure could use a little more Drew these days...everywhere
