New York Attorney Jennifer Bonjean Joins R. Kelly’s Legal Team

She famously represented Bill Cosby on his appeal before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court concerning his 2018 sexual assault conviction, which ultimately got overturned and Cosby walked out of prison a free man.
Now, she's taking on a new client, R. Kelly, who was convicted in September of sex trafficking and racketeering charges, and currently faces life in prison for those crimes.
Bonjean joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss why she is defending the disgraced singer.

All Jennifer saying is if this goes down and they do this to someone you love you can’t then go back and say my brother, uncle, son etc father deserves a fair trial but R Kelly doesn’t.

They had a cellphone the whole time, the parents knew where they were and Social Services didn't do a Welfare Check because these young black girls didn't go to school. And they are No Missing Person Reports.
