Microsoft blamed a third party for the disruption and said it was working to restore services. According to IT security firm CrowdStrike, this is not a security incident or a cyber attack.

Is it just me, but isn't 'Crowdstrike' the worst sounding name for a company? It just conjures up all the wrong vibes. Other examples of the names they pulled out of the hat may have been 'Kittensquash' 'Dogkick' 'Civiliansmash' before reluctantly settling with 'Crowdstrike'.
