I cried when I watched this. We miss you. You are what a true president and presidential family looks like.
  • @adb7771
I love how affectionate they are...I've never seen a President sitting with his hand on his wife's knee. But the Obamas were everything but normal. They were extraordinary! They raised the standards so high - that the next First Family cannot even touch them!
  • @MiriINC
I'll stay single until I find someone to form a unity like that!!!
  • @unicorn5798
I mean..... what a graceful classy couple. We were lucky to have them in office.
  • Sorry for me, letting my romantic side come out... I just love how Barrack holds his hand on her knee, and how Michelle always thrust his hand 'like I would never give him up, this is my man" .... And how he always let her speak first and never interrupt her...And how gentle he speaks of his wife and his daughters and grandmother...For an old time romantic and gentleman like me (an old fart), this brings hope... Love you both and thank you for bringing some sanity into the crazy days of our lives... Bless you....

As a black woman I want to thank you and tell you how proud you both have made me. God bless you and your giris.
  • No matter what believes you have, your ethnicity, where you come from, this family genuinely inspires you to be better in every sense of the world. I don't think that any other family can have such effect on people, its crazy to think that we come back to this videos just to remind ourselves to be better everyday, to keep fighting, i wish i was as articulated as this man or as strong and fearless as the first lady, I'm just grateful that i was around when they were in the white house and got to see first hand what a gentleman and great human being Barak Obama is.

a family of class, intelligence, empathy, and compassion. it’ll be awhile until we have another family like them. ❤️
  • @daveanthony7833
It's hard to replace intelligence and class. This couple exemplified the qualities of president and first lady. As a Canadian I am appalled at how the dignity of the oval office and first family has been stained.

Am I the only one, on June of 2020, devouring the presidency of the Obamas, to protect my own mental health????
  • @lwazeem
I'm binging on so many Obama videos on YouTube in 2021. Such inspiration. May God bless them so much.
  • I miss them both so much. I find myself re-watching all these clips, just for pure comfort and joy. How wonderful they are...irreplaceable. god bless you both and thankyou so much for all you have given us.
  • @katerow9019
It's so refreshing to see a husband and wife sit and speak so equally and respectfully, and with a sincere humidly and humour. Even if you don't 100% agree with them politically, I hope everyone can se the these two people are coming to look up too.
  • The way she’s holding his hands rubbing his hand she really loves him .
  • Seeing them together and the love and the respect they have for each other makes me cry and miss my husband who I lost 13 yrs ago!!! And how we have not heard much of that the last 4 yrs.
  • @tiarepara7788
2022 and still watching this inspirational couple, their genuine love and commitment to each other and their children is beautiful. They went in whole to the White House and they left whole, still glowing, still real, full of life and still very much in love. All that's left to say is thankyou lord for taking care of them
  • @badhombre4683
Wow 2 years later and I find myself on a binge of Obama videos and I feel so sad knowing the horrible reality in which we live now.
  • Body language says soo much. President Obama is okay with his wife's hand on top of his... he does not have to be over her. Ms. Obama rubes her thumb over his hand... very intimate, very loving, and respectful of each other. Beautiful!
  • It seems so strange that we had such a beautiful couple to show us , Americans what a true leadership Team looks like. Starting from being a great and wonderful loving couple and all it took to be a great mother and father to two beautiful young ladies, which have been an inspiration to other young people, this is a young remarkable family that lead this nation through hard financial times and back to wonderful times as they left to continue their new journey in life. My prayers will always be with this wonderful, blessed, and caring family. We love all of you especially your beautiful mother who was a joy to watch when we got the chance to do so. Blessings,Patricia Whigham

Brings back loving memories on how a First Family is normally represented. That's been gravely missed during these past 4 horrendous years. But tomorrow, Jan. 20, 2021 is a new beginning (in the right direction!)
