Ex Chuck Sun Maico 490 1983 owned by Paul Chippendale. Works bikes are always awesome to see. Hand built one offs that occasionally wander around motocross tracks. Seen at Conondale Classic Weekend.

I raced against the up and coming Chuck Sun in Washougal Wa. in 74 or 75...as an amateur...he won...lol...I believe he raced for Honda and Husqvarna as well...the early days of US Motocross were the glory days...loved the sound the two strokes and the smell of bean oil burning...it was a day when the little everyday guy could afford to buy a bike leathers thrown a paper plate with a number on it, onto your bike and race on the weekends...its too corporate nowadays...and no offense to four stroke people...but the sounds of today bikes, farting around a track is boring
