Literally tom holland. I can't be the only one

You see that type of play on a ball down the 3rd base line when there's no chance to get the runner.....why he didn’t just pick up the ball and step on first for the easy out is mind boggling

Michael Kay, or someone, stated that Ben reminds him of Greg Bird. Perhaps, but the manner in which he goes after the pitched ball ---such as where to shift his body, angle of swing, as well as the part of the field he would like to hit the ball to (as it appears to me)---reminds me more of Don Mattingly.

It’s not that big of a deal. People make mistakes

Ben Rice is the very least of the Yankees worries. He will be a really good player. The fix needs to be to trading Torres, using DJ on the bench only, making Rizzo a coach, and replacing Rodon with a real starter and put him in the pen. BTW we need a starting catcher and Wells needs to go back to AAA to learn how to hit with men on base. Can't win with just Judge, Soto and Volpe and Verdugo. Fix it Brian, you broke it years ago, or resign.

Ok rookie but dont let it happen again

To me the play looked like a third baseman who forgot he’s at first and could easily pick that ball up and make an out. A lot harder to throw a slow roller across the diamond but I’ve never seen a first baseman watch the ball roll slowly into the bag like that
