You're talking about Germany in such lovely way. It reminds me of my feelings when I see small English gardens behind terraced houses, gorgeous flower baskets at pubs and stores, beautiful old villages with carefully shaped hedges. The brick walls, the sound of your language. Sometimes I wonder, what it means to fell in love with a country without really knowing it before. Or did we? -maybe a very long time ago?! 😉

Hi Lauren, thanks for the very relaxing video. In some comments you can read about "Leichen im Keller". I'm not sure, if there's an explanation about it. So I'll do it: "Leichen im Keller haben" is the German phrase for "to have a skeleton in the cupboard" (or closet). It means that you hide a dark secret.

I have only been watching your videos for a short time and only been to Germany this year for Oktoberfest. But really loved the Country itself. Since watching your posts, You seem like you would be very fun to be with while seeing historical sites. Your personality is so enjoyable and upbeat.

The snow makes everything look so beautiful! I am glad you have been able to embrace the German winter now that you are properly equipped with a warmer coat and accessories. I missed hearing or more like did not understand the name of the town voted the best small town in the entire world. I am still fine turning understanding in German! 😊 When my family and I finally make it to one of the Christmas Markets I will need to be sure to sample some hot chestnuts thanks to your recommendation. Thank you for sharing your lovely video footage and further enticing me to want to experience such a wonderful German tradition. If my husband had heard the bells at the end of the video he would have been ready to pack up and get on a plane right now. Oh, how he loves hearing those bells whenever we are in Germany!
