America: Where super rich people convince rich people to convince middle class people that poor people are the reason they're not rich.

gotta love Warren Buffet. Why can't more rich people be like this? Instead of endlessly greedy.

Great quote: "... if a kid comes out of the right womb in this country, they've food stamps for the rest of their life. They just call 'em stocks and bonds. And their welfare officer is their trust officer."

Warren Buffett is a living national treasure. May the good Lord keep him with us for a very long time to come. Why isn’t he the President of the US, for crying out loud ?

This man is a credit to the world. He doesn't let wealth clouds him.

Looks like it's filmed in my local furniture store....

This is a man of integrity which is something that is short supply in the Republican party these days
  • @violetblue1924
Yes but they snuck in a special Bob Corker clause to keep him and other senators from paying higher taxes on their income properties.

Let this guy pay all he wants.... but I already pay too damn much in every tax imaginable. Over taxation is a huge problem for the middle class!
  • @fargorealtors
He gets older and smarter. Love how he speaks his mind clear of all politics. Absolutely charming.

All these discussions about the politicking of tax rates amongst different economic brackets completely glosses over the question of why our federal government needs so much revenue in the first place... The federal budget last year was 3.3 trillion dollars The 2010 census indicates a population of 308 million. Quick math tells us: 3.3trillion / 308million = ~$10700 That EVERY SINGLE MAN, WOMAN and CHILD in this country would have to pay almost 11000 dollars last year to support that budget... THE FEDERAL BUDGET ONLY! NONE of which pays for local "police, roads, fireman, schools"... shall I keep going? Does anyone see a problem with this?

When tax bills are passed in the middle of the night, just hang onto your wallet.

Warren Buffet is a compassionate human being and true American patriot.
  • @chris70723
Are they doing this interview in a furniture store?
  • Warren Buffett is an honest billionaire and that is rarity this day in time. I applaud the man and his values. He is a truly great man. He is honest and never lets politics get in the way. He is a true philanthropist who will be sorely missed someday!👍

It's not about corporate competitiveness when this kind of sweeping bill happend, which it does every few decades as a mere ADJUSTMENT...what it's ABOUT is will these cuts create more jobs or raise wages??? The usual answer is SUUURE but the REAL anser is NOOOO....the BOTTOM LINE is looked at first and foremost instead of influxing the economy with higher wages for workers....so corporations WAIT for what results come from their own tax breaks, and never pass it on because by that time stocks have risen and you have dozens of executives who need a speedboat....UTTERLY RIDICULOUS and even Warren Buffett knows it works that way....
