It's so beautiful to see the flowing clouds that seem to be playing fast. Of course, the house that is being built looks so good.

Hi guys...I will give you a brilliant and simpler suggestion than bituminous wooden pillars. PVC pipes used for sewerage with a diameter of 160 or larger, to be put in pits and then reinforced concrete in the middle and cast concrete, last 200 years.

Thank you for all the helpful comments and the post I love it I might try it but with cement and bolts

Nice log mallet! The foundation and floor look great!

The primary beam connection to the bituminous pillar foundations are surely inadequate. Diagonally drilled lag scews would not have enough holding down. Use a steel strap the next time. Saddle them over the primary timber beams (like an inverted U) and nail/bolt the free ends to/through the pillars.

PVC is a very good idea but where I live in España (Balearic Islands) it is prohibited to build with cement and concrete; you can only build small houses with wood unless you have more than 15,000 square meters (161,458 square feet). That's why the foundations wood works very well for me. Thank you for this project👍👍👍
  • beautiful. if you have the chance, you can try the steel deck, it is also good.

Hello. Great idea. I built a house in the country using frame technology: quickly, not expensively and easily. Good luck with the project. I keep watching this video

The tree stumps in the ground for the foundation will only last about 30 years, then you will need to redo the entire foundation. Not the best way to go.

Hello talented workers, very good video, thank you

Friend, what is your standard for inserting wood into the ground? Is it a certain depth? Or does it need to hit hard ground?

What chemical do you use for threating the wood? Here in Puerto Rico I found a thing called "copertox" but it was a long time ago. It left a green color in the wood like the one you use. Is your chemical DIY, if so please share the mix. Thank.
