So WOW great video. I’ve watched it numerous times too. Just watching for technique. I wish you’d do bloopers reel where the cord wraps around the Makita or of it jumping out of your hand! I mean I had it happen. Maybe you never had that happen? Ha! Ok serious now. I am 100% sold on that Super Cut. Wow. My Boston Whaler is a 92 and guaranteed she’s never been deoxidized. I started off using a heavy cut auto polish. It really wasn’t very good. After watching this video I ordered EVERYTHING and today I got after it with Super Cut. Oh My God. That stuff is like sand blasting gel coat. Grin. I have to wear eye protection because tiny sand particles fling everywhere. But that stuff works so so so well. Love it. You can do a spot and instantly know in just a few passes if you need a tad more. Also I will say that I didn’t know what life could be before I bought that Presta wool buff. I was using a Harbor Freight one. Night and day difference! After doing the Super Cut I had to power hose the boat to get all that compound out. It’s very gritty but it “flows” with the water hose nicely. Tomorrow I’m doing step 2 with the Menzerna 400. I TRUST that it will actually smooth out the cut. Right now my nonskid is very clean looking albeit not bright. My flat interior surfaces are almost shiny but not quite. And yes some of that hologram stuff. Even if I stopped now I would be amazed at how much better the boat looks. But I’m all-in and going for the full Monty on this baby. I love my Whaler and I’m gonna make her happy she has a new owner. Anyway long note but I must say PRODUCTS MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. For me I have to learn more technique but I’m not “bad” and “dumb”. So products matter more than technique if you have enough technique. Great videos and I’ve subscribed and will continue to dig watching. I love boats.

I'm learning a lot by watching your videos and I appreciate it. My boat is new and I've been using the Star Brite Non Skid Deck Cleaner every time we wash the boat. Will this be sufficient for keeping my non skid in good shape? It says it has PTEF and advertises it provides a protective barrier. Thanks!

Hey great video and going to try these steps on non skid. We have some on the bow and worried about the wax on the hull we just did getting washed off with the use of the purple stuff cleaner. Did the hull before we saw this video! What would you recommend? Paul
