I had no idea who H.E.R. was until this SNL program. I watched because of my Foos. She is amazing. I still miss Taylor, but I am so happy and amazed with Josh Freese. We saw the concert at Talking Stick!!

Dave and his bands are SO good about lifting up or showcasing amazing female artists to a wider audience. As a huge example, when Nirvana was inducted into the RnR HoF, every singer was a woman: Joan Jett, St Vincent, Lorde, and Kim Gordon. H.E.R. is SOO talented, and this version is SOO great!

3 times on repeat and my entire well of tears is empty. The pain in the lyrics from the acquired damage of loss over a lifetime, pays a heavy toll. HER voice takes a double play to a GRAND SLAM, and I don’t even like hockey

I like the twist they put on the song, making it more tender and softer. I still think the original is better because of the pain and raw emotion you can hear from Dave Grohl's voice but this is a nice rendition.
