Using a thrifted book holder from Goodwill, my kids and I learn to focus on gratitude and mindfulness on a daily basis. The basket gets a makeover with chalk paint and dollar store items. In it we store tools for choosing to be grateful. We use gratitude journals, our Bible, books about manners and being calm and present, a sketchbook and meditation scripts for kids. My kids use the box each morning like a morning basket in homeschool to focus on the good things in their lives. This inexpensive, farmhouse style makeover is done with a common thrift store find and could also be used for many other things!

Love the way you think...and teach your children! How refreshing it is to read about a parent that loves the Lord and teaches her children all about Him! Thank you for sharing!...PS LOVE the gratitude journals!
