As a California native, I concur with your review wholeheartedly. That was about the most honest, accurate description of a double double imaginable. I will readily admit that In-N-Out is a bit over-hyped for you east coasters, but it is QUALITY "fast food." It was about as over-hyped as Five Guys was before it made its way out here. I went to Five Guys shortly after one opened up near my prior residence. It was a very solid-quality burger, akin to In-N-out in that respect, though not entirely comparable. They are two totally different styles, but both have their own merits.
