Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker delivered a rather unique commencement address to the Northwestern University Class of 2023 on Monday, sharing wisdom from the hit television show "The Office" to help send graduates "forward on the right path in life."

So glad he is governor of my home state. He is an intelligent, compassionate leader and a great executive/administrator. We need more like him. Excellent speech as well.

Hi, I live in Australia and first read this in the Guardian news today. I have never heard of Pritzker or the university before but I have to say even though i live a world away I can relate to what he spoke about and as a family man having worked and looking back on my past 40 plus years he is amazingly spot on. It made me think and really realize that life throws very similar curve balls to each and every one of us throughout our lives.. We should all realize we have more in common with each other than we think. The best part I liked was being kind. Great speech by a top bloke. Cheers.
