Jim Browning is a personal hero of mine. I wish I was smart enough to do the things that he does. His work helps to protect the most vulnerable and valuable members of our society, our seniors.

They SHOULD DO a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against this guy and take away EVERYTHING INCLUDING HIS HOUSE, so HE COULD FEEL THE PAIN he has caused to his victims !!!!

Jim Browning is the man. This is personal for me because it happened to my mom last Christmas. Ironically, I got the phone call about what happened while watching Jim Brownings channel, but unfortunately it was too late. I have nothing but praise for the people who try to stop, expose and help these victims.

I used to work at a grocery and anytime I saw someone buying more than $10 worth of Google, Apple, Steam GC. I would interrogate them and warn them. 3 times, I stopped people out of that 1 time this old lady in a mobility scooter was actually on the phone with a scammer. No one deserves to lose their hard earned cash.

The last man from Ontario that they helped avoid being scammed reminded me of my grandfather . This makes me so angry that people especially the elderly are being ripped off by these low down criminals. The RCMP needs to be doing more to stop this and get them prosecuted!

I work at a bank and we see this all the time! The worst scams are the romance scams, because you tell these people who are lonely and in need of affection, attention and love that these people are scammers and they don’t believe you. They end up sending the money anyway. It’s so sad 😭

I can't thank you enough for what you are doing. It's shocking and sad that authorities don't take this seriously, despite the fact that these frauds have become a part of our daily life. What else should happen to make them believe this needs to be taken seriously and stop letting the fraudsters walk freely next to you on the street and public places!

I am glad about the CBC Marketplace trying to stop scammers and educating Canadians, but at the same time victims need to be told to turn off their computer in case the scammer is connected to their computer as well as to call their bank and CC just in case. Why? Because even if they did not send money, as long as they had logged into their online bank while the scammers have been connected to their computer, they install keyloggers and could easily make new CC in the victim's name and details.

Shame on the RCMP! Shame on all the politicians who have failed to address this very serious issue with meaningful action. Far more needs to be done. 50 hours of community service is not a strong enough deterrent. All that does is promote Canadians as "free" targets for this disgusting act. Thank you Marketplace, Jim Browning and all those who target these scammers.
