Moving Angraecums Back for Optimal Indoor Grow Space Configuration πŸ˜‚ Blitz Tour #ninjaorchids

ONE more Angraecum Shuffle before they go outside!! When my big angraecums bloom, I flip them around so as to have the blooms facing me and make it possible for me to enjoy them to the fullest while they are around. NOT just visually but fragrance wise as well. The delicious fragrance of Angraecums at night with the stronger Jasmine note sitting above faint vanilla and clean soap is such wonderful company to have. Seeing as the spikes grow toward the light, as with any orchid, the blooms would be crowded by the orchids that occupy the shelf in front of them. So, 2x / winter, I flip them, once to face me and then again to face the direction of light. No more shuffling my angraecums until the night temperatures permit me to move them outside. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ #orchideen #orchidcare #orquideas #orchideenpflege #tips #tipsandtricks #indoorgardening

Thanks for the update, Nina! Hope you're having the best weekend ever πŸ’— 😊

Hi Nina! Musical chairs…..they look amazingly well. Jack of diamonds is spectacular! Good job! Spring is around the corner, you will make it again! You were saying earlier your concern about camera angles. You having to do it all. I think you should let Xyliano man the camera. He would do an excellent job 🀣 Have a wonderful week and take care. ❀️❀️
  • Hi Ninja Master.... Been preoccupied with other issues lately so hit and miss my YT vids. But I be Here..... πŸ‘‹πŸ»πŸ€™πŸ» 🐝

Hi Nina. Your grow space looks so nice and neat. It’s warming up a tad here in Ohio, USA. It’s going to be 67 degrees today, and in the 70’s tomorrow, Monday. Almost spring. Take care dear lady. πŸ₯°πŸ’œπŸ’
  • πŸ¦’πŸ’πŸ’¦πŸ’¨πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈπŸ₯Ά Did you say spring? (Sigh)I feel a lifetime away, it feels so cold!!! Gorgeous spike on Jack of Diamonds, looking forward to the booms. Btw, the Fredclarckeara you gave me has a new growth. At least, unlike me, that one is not complaining πŸ˜‚β€β€β€

Angraecums look good. I only have 2 that are growing outdoors beneath the eaves of the roof on the southwest side of the lanai. Hopefully they will begin to grow as we are approaching springtime. Enjoyed seeing the Catesetums. Mine are just breaking dormancy so I've repotted them and started watering for a new season. Yes, this is a "tight space" for growing, but most avid orchid growers eventually get to that point, don't they? I keep telling myself that my orchid area is full and I still end up buying another here and there. LOL Thanks for the update. Always enjoy listening/watching the variety of videos you present and the update, positive manner of presentation that you have. Take care, stay safe and enjoy your ORCHIDS!

Looks very nice in your gross base at the moment where you are all seem to be doing all okay and a good clean up as well makes you feel better❀❀
  • Looking good! So nice and organized. I'd rather watch you do your clean up chores than do mine haha. Guess this is a sign for motivation to start this morning after this video lol. I've started to get audio books to listen to with earbuds so it doesn't feel tedious and a small snack and a drink and maintenance work has been far more enjoyable. I'm a terrible procrastinator and this helps me somewhat overcome it haha.

What a hope inspiring video! We have put in an offer on another home (we have dreadful neighbors). And I'm thinking that my plants will get to see a new view with tons less noise and 100% privacy soon. I'm getting so excited watching my weather app. Last year, temps didn't warm enough until May, which is very late for Virginia. I saw another youtuber say the same for his state, Missouri.

Drastic Seasonal Changes and needing to move all orchids depending on the time of the year would reallu stress me out! Fortunately, living in one of the tropical islands here in the Philippines prevented that from happening! My blabbering aside, you're well organized I must say! Great video~ I find it relaxing hehe Happy Growing! πŸ’• (Also I might change the name of this account soon if I decide to upload Orchid related content hehe)

Hi πŸ‘‹ Your angraecums are amazing. My seedlings need to chop chop! By the way, remember my Nobile type that was in full bloom late autumn and throughout the winter? It dropped the last flower a couple of weeks ago and I just found a single new growth starting now. So that's the timeline as requested πŸ˜…
  • I'm surprised you don't just leave the Epi schweinfurthianum outside all year, it can tolerate cool to cold temps.
  • What temperature do put your cats outside. Looks like your winter temps are not that cold. I am a newly with a few cattleya seedlings. You have a wonderful collection of babies.
  • @LizE2654
What did you spray with and was it preventative or did you have issues? Also, your Schilleriana looks beautiful. I can’t seem to get mine to bloom. Received it with 3 leaves in September. It lost a leaf and grew a new one but no new roots or spikes. It did have a cool down with the rest of my phals, most of which are blooming or in spike. Any tips?

Hi Nina, its Ileana... Your Angraecum blooms look beautiful. I have two small Angraecum sesquipedale and one is about 12" across and 12" vertical. I understand that they don't like to be repotted to much... should I leave it in the pot (leave it alone for now) it is in about a 6" now and wait to transfer it to a way bigger pot... shallow or deep? Deep? lol, please advise. Thank for the tour! :face-red-heart-shape:
