Boaz was to Ruth, what Jesus Christ is to me. The story tells me that there is one who thinks I'm worthy of His love and let's me know He will provide and take care of me. Like Ruth, I will stay faithful and wait on my Boaz; who is not man, but my Prince and my King...Jesus Christ
  • Some people need to read how this love story began. When God puts 2 people together it will happen without hesitation.
  • I lost my daughter also ..appreciate prayer. Praying for you right now. Very hard!

This is one of my favorite books in the Bible because it's about friendship and loyalty. "Your God will be my God..." Ruth wasn't going to let her friend become a hermit widow. That's true friendship. Wish more people had friends like that.

I would like to know how many people are called Boaz, just like me😊 my name seems odd in my society but as i grew, i became proud of that name

Hearing this makes me want to be a redeemer for those within my community who need help.
  • Prayed in Jesus Christ name . And only in his name above all names. Peace be with you and your love ones. Shalom.

  • A prayer for joy.
God, thank You for giving me constant access to Your presence. Because You are always with me, I can experience true joy at all times. Although the joy You give isn’t based on my circumstances, I don’t always live a life marked by joy. Too often, instead of trusting You, I let my problems dictate my reactions. Please forgive me! Fill me with Your joy and peace, so that by the power of Your Holy Spirit, I may abound in hope at all times. Help me to live a life marked by undefeatable joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The timing of God is perfect, not too many know that Boaz died immediately after the wedding but Ruth bore him a son, Obed, who became the father of Jesse, the father of King David.

Boaz was 80 and Ruth was 40.
  • When the offense comes up, don’t go there. Keep your mind on the positive. Think on things that are good, wholesome, uplifting. It’s not doing anything productive to think about something negative that was said about you, relive how that person walked away, rehearse all the pain and disappointment, go back over all the sorrow. That’s going to keep you from healing. Let it go. That’s in the past. God saw what happened. He heard what they said. He knows what you lost, what wasn’t fair. If you’ll let it go, He’ll make it up to you. He’ll give you beauty for the ashes.
  • Boaz is one of my most favorite men, and also the Book of Ruth is one of my favorite scriptures. I'd have a man like Boaz over any other man, if that were possible. He was truly a man of godly character!
