The Delta 5 Pro from Daniel Defense is one of the more interesting chassis rifles I've had the pleasure to shoot.

I love Daniel Defense! Where the company started, to now, is an amazing story. And it's even better when you see all the amazing things they make.

I have a DD Delta 5 in 308. With handloads the rifle shoots consistent quarter inch groups. I'm very happy with the rifle.

I have the original Delta 5 in 6.5 creedmoor and boy is it consistent. It will consistently shoot a 1/4 inch or less at 100 yards, if I do my job. Daniel Defense did very good on this one.

Sir, you did an absolutely terrific job going over the entire rifle. Thank you — much appreciated!

Run it with the hellfire brake and a suppressor with a hellfire mount and I think you’ll be impressed with the ease of use, repeatability and cross platform compatibility.

Good review, I always enjoy your content.
One very important point missing about the rifle is the trigger.
Can you tell us more about it ?

That's a quality firearm. Pricey, but quality and highly accurate. It had to be a joy to shoot.

It's a bit out of my price range but I think it's totally worth it. if I were buying a $2,500 bolt action there's a good chance this would be the one I chose. I don't know what a Barrett costs but that would probably my first choice with an unlimited budget.

I am building a 6.5 Grendel on the AR platform and I'm spending quite a bit on that but at least I can spread the costs out when I build it myself.

I seem to always be a year behind on the trends. I have been looking and chassis style 308s. Again the Military arms channel comes thru on helping me make my decisions

I appreciate that you fully explained and tested this rifle. You showed that it is impressive!

That was some nice shot grouping & you make it look easy, lol. Ultimately it takes more than a great gun to shoot Great, it's a combo of a shooter's skill, the quality of the gun & minimally decent ammo to make those shots. Great shooting & a Great video! THX from TX!

Hi Tim. I have a question and maybe you can make a video about it? For example; 6.5 creedmoor shoot from ar 15 and bolt action rifle and they both have same lenght barrels. Would there be a significant velocity loss? I think it would be a interesting to see a ballistic performance on such experiment. Greetings from Croatia :D

ROLL YOUR OWN, there's something I ain't heard for a couple days. hahahaha I think the 6.5 is just inherently accurate. I shoot both the Creedmoor and the Grendel and they both shoot extremely well.
