Probably didn't expect this one, huh? After 2 videos talking about Star Fox, I decided to cover the weird Yugioh RTS/RPG I played as a kid. Way to stay on brand, am I right? Still, I had fun making this and I hope you do watching it.

  • My nostalgia for the game is so high and I find myself replaying it a lot. Something about it scratches just the right itch for me. I know it isn't particularly good, but I enjoy it so much for some reason.

I desperately want a sequel to this game. I still have my gamecube copy. I also want another Duelist of the Roses. I think Yu-Gi-Oh! games were at their best when not simply being the card game.

I remember harpie ladies being ridiculously overpowered due to their unit specific buffs. They had a powerful team attack, they had equips that could stun lock even the Egyptian Gods, were very fast due to be flying units, and were overall fairly powerful. It was insane how busted they were.

Great video! It always shocks me when I find other people having played this. I played through every campaign more times than I can count. Konami really dropped the ball with how innovative this title was. Yu-Gi-oh! side games are so bonkers.

I think the funniest thing about the Tea recruit mission is I remember her monsters were so broken that even if the enemies catch her, she can easily wipe them out because one of her monsters can make all enemy attacks miss. Absolutely hilarious team that did amazing whenever I played this game.

2 years late, but man I love Yu-Gi-Oh Falsebound Kingdom. Such a great unique game, literally not a single game that's close to the same. Even after 15 years of playing me and my brother still can have fun fresh playthroughs. We do Nuzlockes and split the monsters and Marshalls up between us. So we just trade off the controller for whoever is in a fight and complete the missions while trying not to lose any of our monsters. Really fun way to play. Wish they would make a sequel. If they did do a sequel I hope they speed up combat a bit though lmao💀. Good Vid 👍

This game was so dear to me growing up! For some reason, whenever games gave you the option of choosing a Yugi or Kaiba route, Kaiba always got the better story. You need look no further than the endings of Duelists of the Roses because the difference is VAST.

Just picked this game up at a thrift store and wanted more info on it. Great video

This channel is VERY underrated! Seriously you deserve more attention if you're putting out content this quality.
  • @gladboylavin
Always nice to look for something incredibly niche and finding a great channel in the process
  • @foxxylover
The dozens of fans of this game really appreciate this video!

"completely off brand" bro you have a total of 1.5 videos outside of this one. Ur good
  • @TheFatestPat
This was a neat little game back in the day. It's too bad they stopped making spinoff games after this one. I always thought Yugioh would work well in a tabletop RPG kind of setting.
  • Never played this game before, but your video made it seem very interesting. Keep up the good work!
  • @TheNinjaCrash
I have never stopped a video to look for another one as fast as I did just now. When you said "speedrun for this game" I just HAD to know
  • @d.a.d.-ohgosh
Absolutely loved this game in my early teenage years.
