Turns out that most Palestinians like freedom as much as most people do. Big surprise.
-
"Under Syria? No Palestine is a separate state". š
-
You should have asked them "What is Sharia" and then asked them "Do you want to implement it".
-
In minority = love ,peace, secularism, In majority = Islamic republic, sharia
-
Most of them donāt even know what it is, i think they thought it was traditional law. And the anarchist guy was apparently stoned.

Anyone who wants Sharia Law can always try to move to where it currently exists such as Somalia, Iran, Aceh, Brunei, Saudi Arabia, tribal areas of Pakistan, etc. Funny but the movement people seems to be in the opposite direction...
-
Ask them what they would do if their child was gay
-
the thing is , the west understands different things when they hear sharia law and muslims understand an other thing
-
Seems some Palestinians are secular and modern... very nice...they respect all religions.
-
3 said yes to Sharia & 5 said no to Sharia Law. Well that is better than I would have thought. Glad to see it.
-
most of the people interviewed were so open minded. the world needs more people like them.
-
According to a pew research poll of 2011, 89% of Palestinians answered yes to the question "do you believe in Sharia law for all Muslim countries?"
-
women are more aware about it

First of, sharia in arabic, literally, means ālawā in english, so you must ask about the islamic law not just āshariaā Second, there is no unified interpretation of what is the Islamic law. There are many schools in islam that interpret it differently. Third, many muslims do not even have have any idea about what is Islamic law. They only know that this is a law were justice is insured for everyone as these laws were given by the god himself. Sometimes, If you try to educate them about some of the islamic laws, they may deny that these laws are islamic at all and may justify their denial by claiming that they were applied in specific occasions only and in specific period of time and these laws are no longer needed. So, before you ask people whether they want to apply the islamic law or not, ask them what they know about the islamic law first.

Wise words from some of them.

Your videos are doing more for peace and goodness than anything Iām seeing done by Govt leaders and mediators because youāre opening civil discussions and dialogues. Thank you for doing this. I canāt help but notice that Palestine civilians have spoken out that their nation includes a beautiful mixture of other faiths in coexistence. I know opinions arenāt all the same but thereās healthy differences of opinion that are often ignored and thatās why we need these videos.

My respect for the last one. Wise man.
