The Flash's original ending has been revealed. Two deleted versions of the ending! Henry Cavill’s time as Superman may be over, however his character still existed in the Flash film but was supposed have a much bigger part to play in the film’s ending. Now The flash has just been released in theatres and DC fans have a lot of questions. As soon as I left that theatre I felt that the ending to movie felt out of place and that’s because it was not supposed to be that way.

The ending was stupid we want Cavill and Affleck.

Everybody loves Henry Cavill as Superman, it's impossible to understand why film makers don't continue doing movies with him.

I would've like to have seen the original ending as well. But, the ending they gave made a strange sort of sense in saying that no matter how Barry thought he put things right, messing with time has consequences.

Totally agree! They should have not deleted Gal Gadot (as Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (as Superman) and Ben Affleck (as Batman) and they should have made some scenes to keep the excitement to look forward on to the next DC movies.. Totally dismayed when I left the cinema.. WB should really be taking this seriously if they really want to get DC reign over past Marvel movies.

Cavill is a perfect fit for superman. It’s likes he was made for the role. He even looks like comic book superman!

Super bummed about this change. Henry Cavils Superman was the best and still had so much more story inside him.

Really sad to hear Ben wanted to continue. He had it in him to be a great Batman. He was in a terrible point in his real life while shooting JL especially and he is in a much better place now. He admitted he didn't do the role justice but he loves the character and i think the Afleck directed and staring as Batman solo film would of been fantastic. Here's hoping down the road he can perhaps be the Bruce in a Beyond adaptation. It really pisses me of two great and passionate fans of there roles in Ben and Henry got treated so poorly. The joy Henry showed after finally donning the cape again was heartwarming but then his huge obvious sadness just days later gutted me. Cavill is a dude and deserved better.

My take on the ending is that if Clooney was Batman, it meant that Flash was still in the wrong dimension. I would have much preferred an Affleck and Cavill ending.

The way time works in this movie is a actually pretty simple if you follow Wayne's instructions in the kitchen scene. Going back to change ANYTHING in the past sends a ripple into the future (what you changed) and backwards (what the universe changed to make up for the event that shouldn't of happened). This ripple that goes backwards goes ALL the way back, to the beginning of time, hence why you get completely different timelines (like Nick Cage superman lol). Barry, learning nothing throughout the movie decided to change the present AGAIN by saving his dad (since he couldn't bear to lose both his parents) by tampering with the shelving to put the tomatoes on top. So in this universe his father is freed, while in his original timeline his father likely goes away for a murder he didn't commit. I honestly don't think there is a way for him to even fix this issue, according to the movies' logic, any changes to the past creates a new universe (so essentially Barry is a God) with completely different histories. What I mean by this is even if he goes back to change the cans to their original places he might get another new universe, with Robert Pattinson as Batman! The director took the lesser of two evils by following the movies logic to a T, even if some of us don't like it (I thought it was a fun ending) and we'll see how the next movie sorts it out, or, whether it was just a fun way of wrapping up those actors by dumping them in an alternate reality where they can be plucked for cameos later on 😆

I hope we get to see more of Sasha Calle. Getting at least one movie of her in gold and white as Power Girl could be amazing.

Cavill, Affleck and Gadot were all very good in their roles. Corrupting the film just to introduce bad changes was a very foolish move, and I'm not sure how they could have not realized that.
  • Finally when DC was starting to make sense and deliver good movies, with Keaton’s Batman and Sasha’s Supergirl entering main DCU and Cavill’s Superman returning, James Gunn nuked the hell out of the The Flash’s ending! I’m speechless seeing such a WTF ending to such a great movie!
  • Saw it last night I enjoyed the Flash movie despite all of the bad press from Ezras antics I would have been nice if we didn't know about Keatons Batman in advance. He was great in this timeline absolutely loved Supergirl!! The fact that everyone died in this storyline made things better and raised the stakes much more. It gave a reason for Barry to go insane and try endlessly to fic the timeline sadly because of the studio and changes in direction, actors, etc , the movie got changed and we will not be able to have any further continuity. We have to look at this movie as a one off and not a part of a series. DCU cannot get back on track to save its life Another question, if Kryptonians are immune to conventional injury when they come here (bulletproof etc) How was Zod able to "stab" Kara? or use his gene code extracting device? in Man of Steel he had to put Clark in that Kryptonian atmosphere to take his blood

It's was bad opinion to remove Henry from the story line we need him back he's my hero❤

For me: Best ending = De Luca and Abdy's Worst ending = Hamada and Emmerich's

I feel really bad/upset for Sasha Calle. She truly put her heart into the film bringing Supergirl to life and she has said in interviews how she feels Supergirl was written in the stars for her and would absolutely love to be back as the girl of steel!
  • I loved the ending because I've always held that Tim Burton's Batman movies were not connected to Joel Schumacher's "sequels". The Clooney cameo proves that he is not just another actor playing the same role, but a Batman from an alternate universe. Finally, justice for Keaton's Batman!
