  • Make sure you all are drinking proper amounts of water daily too! I didnt realize inwas chronically dehydrated and correcting my daily intake has made me look so much more awake

I’ve had severe eye bags all my life, and nothing gets them 100% gone. What’s helped is caffeine cream in the morning, and retinol cream at night. What helps me is to not let ANY product touch the water line of my eyes. I stop about 4 millimeters before it reaches the waterline. My eyes used to water all day long before I started doing that, and once I stopped slapping product all over my eyes, the irritation, puffiness, and tears stopped.

I LOOOOVE THAT THESE TWO are bringing (attention) to affordable skin care products !!

Fresh aloe gel and liquid right from the leaf. Cold from the fridge. Shape skin as you mesage in - work toward the ear. Let dry. Lifts and tightens skin and give a health glow. I'm four months in on the regimen and I get compliments on my complextion and or ppll tell me I look sooooo healthy. I am a 57 yo man & an avid sun worshiper.

Yay, thank you!! There's so much talk about dark under eye circles but I struggle with the dreaded bags, so I really appreciate this information. Dr. Maxfield was on fire in this video and I'm here for it 🙌
  • Hey Doctorly! I’m a teen struggling with my skin and your channel has been more than helpful with buying items for my skincare routine. While searching for brands, I found many different views on what ingredients and brands are good for young skin but many contradict each other. I think it would be SUPER helpful if you could have pages on your website for different age groups including ingredients to get or avoid! Thanks a bunch, again!!!
  • @janayr1920
Great video! Thank you for covering the retinol dry eye thing. So many don’t! This was helpful overall.
  • @sebumpostmortem
Moral of the story: Step 1: Ask to your derm wich kind of eyebags you have so you can do the correct choice of products/procedures without waisting your money and experiencing frustration. Step 2: Be realistic. Miss ACGT and Miss Gravity cannot be avoided, just attenuated. 🧛🏻‍♀️🖤

I apply all my serums (niacinamide, peptides etc) on the eyes and lips except for vitamin C or the exfoliating ones. Every night use the Geek & Gorgeous retinal on my face and around the eyes and on top a simple moisturizing cream. I’m 60 and I think the skin around my eyes is in a pretty good condition. Thanks for this very interesting video 👍
  • @shanrshan1
So thoughtful and thorough! Love the graphics with the products! Helps for screenshots of what I need to remember ❤

Looking back at photos from my childhood, I have had large puffy circles under my eyes since I was around 4-5. I will never forget a guy in high school who asked me one day where I was traveling to. When I asked him why he thought I was traveling somewhere, he said, "Because your bags are packed." referring to my under-eye bags. I was absolutely mortified and obviously have never forgotten how awful I felt when he said that. My 50 year reunion is this summer, that's how long ago it was. I have tried everything and nothing has gotten rid of the dark circles under my eyes. I will no doubt try some suggested here as I am always hopeful. Thank you for this video.
  • Thank you for mentioning the possible effects of retinoids on the meibomian glands! Dry eye syndrome is such a huge problem that significantly affects quality of life for a lot of people, especially in the populations that would be looking to treat eye bags, etc. As an optometrist who treats a lot of dry eye, I see every day how common meibomian gland dysfunction has become, and the effects are so hard to manage once you get to a certain point of gland atrophy/morphological changes.
  • wooho glad I caught this episode thank you for all your hard work and input to my daily routine will wait eagerly to see you again xx
  • @Knk.07
Please make a video on wrinkles around eyes and sagging eyelids. ❤
  • @edena2769
Thank you for the video. Love you guys ❤ Can you please make a video on Sculptra and Volux ?
  • I’m glad you two didn’t opt to suggest under eye or tear-trough fillers.
  • @anonone4419
Biossance squalane marine algae eye cream contains tripeptide-5, which is a peptide belonging to SYN-COLL, which has anti wrinkle effects, helps with a more lifted and sculpted look, boosts collagen and inhibits collagen degradation.
