  • Producing an ID to vote is NOT racist. Suggesting that an entire group of citizens somehow cannot obtain an ID from their state is absurd and rather insulting.
  • Every American citizen has a right to vote. Surely they need to prove that that are American Citizens and not imported illegal voters.
  • In my experience I’ve never met someone who couldn’t “afford” an ID. I have met folks who didn’t carry or have ID because they had warrants.

Of course, like all who don’t have a valid reason, she doesn’t even answer the question as to how requiring voter id is racist.

Talk about being evasive! That alone speaks volumes about her views!

It’s racist to imply that a person is not smart enough to get a ID!!!! 🤪
  • In addition to voting, it is also a right to keep and bear arms in this country. In order to purchase a firearm, you must show ID and submit to a background check. The very simple requirements that Republicans want all citizens to adhere to when voting are: You must be at least 18 years of age, you’re registered to vote, you’re a citizen of the state you are voting in, and you must be alive when you voted. Pretty simple and logical requirements.

It drives me crazy when they don't answer questions. Who holds these people accountable???
  • @RichardRennes
Mike Lee should`ve asked her "If requiring Voter ID is racist, isn`t requiring these same people to have vaccine passports/cards ALSO racist?"
  • @CC-ep4zu
Her smirk on her face the whole time she's answering questions should tell anyone all they need to know.
  • @Leavon
The fact is that requiring Voter ID is in no way racist at all, unless you want to say that requiring ID to buy alcohol, tobacco, open a bank account, applying for any type of Gov't assistance, getting unemployment etc... that all these and many more activities are racist as well that require showing ID. The argument that it's racist is complete and total BS.

I'm Asian, a legal immigrant, and a US citizen! I want voter ID, nothing is racist about asking for ID.
  • You need an ID to virtually anything and everything legal in the entire world. Requiring an ID to vote isn't racist. It's smart!

"We wont know that until we actually look at the facts." That just shut down the Dem's narrative right there. By that statement alone we should at least try Voter ID.

It’s crazy how everyone was miraculously able to find their id when they wanted to cash those stimulus checks. Crazy.
  • She is being asked questions that pertain to the position she was nominated for. The fact she can't answer them is because she isn't qualified for it.

I was shocked when I voted in 2020. When entering I tried to show my drivers license, and the older gentleman at the table looked at me like I was crazy and said "No we don't need to see that." This is lunacy.
  • See her as she actually is, she needs the assistance of a guide kid to articulate a single thought coherently.

I hate hearings like this. They never answer any questions. But, it is entertaining to see the art of dodging the question.
