  • RIP Barry. You made so many of us forget our troubles and laugh out loud. You will be missed.

He's always been a national treasure in the UK. Much loved and respected. Very clever, loving and funny.
  • I honestly cried a bit at hearing of his passing. On the other hand, I nearly pissed myself watching his clips on YT in remembrance. That's the magic he made, turning one emotion into another for just a few minutes or so and making us forget the bad stuff we were going through so we could smile for a bit. You'll be sorely missed and not soon forgotten, thanks for the laughs and RIP, lad.

With Paul O'Grady a couple of weeks ago and now Barry leaving us, it's almost like losing four entertainers. Bless the pair of you and thanks for the years of laughter.
