Great review! Informative and to the point. I’m heavily considering getting an iPhone 15 in that sharp green color. Mainly because there are so many upgrades this year. I’ll likely wait and see what the Pixel 8 has to offer too but I’m leaning towards the 15.

I keep hearing the “cheap android phones have 120Hz” comment. Android phones are not only competing with Apple for market share, they’re competing with dozens of other companies that use Android. iPhone is the only phone using iOS. Apple releases 4 phones a year, Samsung alone releases at least 6 or 7. So when Apple releases its base iPhone, it’s not thinking about the tech nerd, they’re thinking about the average consumer who might not even know what a Hz is.

Great video. I’ve always been a pro user until the 14plus. The weight difference is significantly better for the plus models. My photos are mainly used for social media so the plus cameras are more than enough. The best feature is the battery life. I have the 15 plus. No need for 120hz.

The Pixel 8 Pro will have some of the things you love about these new iPhones. Rounded corners and sides, flat display, frosted matte glass on the back, very thin symmetrical bezels and proper corner radius. Super bright screen and crazy new camera features. If you've seen the leaks then you know Google is not messing about this year. It all hinges on how well Tensor G3 handles heat and efficiency.

The only thing that stops me from getting the 15 plus is the fact that it doesn’t have always on display. I don’t want to pick up my phone every other minute just to see if I have missing notifications.

This is a great phone. I have the 15 Plus and any concerns about average battery life have gone. The battery on the Plus is fantastic.

3 things I’d wish the 15 would have: a usb 3.0 (even 5Gbs would be a huge difference) transferring speeds type C, touch ID and a lower starting price (outside the US), yes 120hz would be nice but if rumours are to be believed it’s coming in 2 years time…

The pixel camera app has had the option to toggle depth data for years. It's off by default though.

thank you for the review! I'm just too confused to buying 15plus because of its giving 60hz display but. as I'm an Android user switch to íphone just because i love the color science of the photos it takes. so for now i can neglect this refresh rate thing and going to buy it. 👍✨

I’ve never been too fussed to get the pro model. Never had one. I’m sure it’s awesome and everything but the regular iPhone is enough for me. I’m only missing the pro motion. It’s time for Apple to add that to the regular models too. Even the cheaper Android phones have 120hz for years now.

I’m using iPhone 7 Plus and I’ve hold out until this year to see what Apple brings to the table that will be different to the 14’s. I’m happy I waited the extra year. It’s the biggest update in years. With my big eyes I’m looking the Plus size again.
