Laurie: Michael: ah so that’s what that feels like

One of my favorite parts of the movie the tables turned on Michael, everyone in the theater cheered when they saw Laurie was gone.

I really loved the throwback to the 1978's film when Loomis looked outside at the end and Michael was gone but this time it was Laurie who was gone. Well played writers!

That mannequin jumpscare is super effective. The fact Laurie was staring at Michael but never knowing it. A shape among shapes. Certainly scared the piss out of me.

When Laurie was searching her house for Michael, I was on the edge of my seat. It's been a long time since a horror film had real suspense and tension, but that scene had some good suspense and tension. I was really scared for Laurie in that scene because Michael could be anywhere in the house.

3:41 I absolutely love how they “flipped” that iconic scene for the new movie. This was a very tense scene!

Laurie biting into Michael’s ruined hand is still awesome.

When Laurie disappeared, out of his sight, I can tell he’s a bit scared.

2:48 Michael: "Hey, I remember you now. Why don't you scream for me like old times?"
