Here is a place many may not know about. There is a small fishing village in Minnesota called Angle Inlet that you have to enter Manitoba, Canada to visit. otherwise you can only get there by boat. When we found this out we knew we had to take our viewers there ,because our channel is all about taking people on adventures they might not be able to for all sorts of reasons whether it is time, costs, disabilities or maybe they're trying to plan future travel adventures. that is great that you kept your camera or phone on during border crossing. they do not allow that usually. it releives a ton of anxiety to see the procedure.

I’ve been in MN for nearly ten years and nobody talks like a Canadian here. Not sure where you came up with that information. Sorry. They don’t say “Eh?” But they do do say “you betcha!” And “ ufda!” The accent here is very much Midwestern. Interesting video, though. Enjoyed seeing the Angle. Thanks for sharing ❤

One down 2 more to go eastern most I believe is in Quoddy head Maine, southern is key west and I’m sure you have been to cape Alava in Washington….but this is the most unique one….go through Canada to get there……loved the video guys😃🇨🇦 p.s. get your passports, Thailand is calling you!
  • They say we learn something new every day. I never knew this existed. Very interesting and wow so much talk time on them phones to go back and forth ! When explaining everything to us it was hard to understand. Love that yous put Opal on a map. It clearly made sense then 😊

That has got to be the silliest set up for border crossing, ive ever seen or heard of! That was just ridiculous! I mean you could easily lose someone or get lost, just by trying to follow their instructions! And i never thought i would say this, but i prefer the manned borders! They are way easier! Lol! But that is a beautiful area and the prices on those cabins, which were really big, was fantastic! Its cheaper than a cheap motel is and i bet you its way cleaner and more sanitary too! So if you ever want a vacation getaway that includes the weidest border crossing you could imagine, and leaving the country to get back to the US, to again leave the country and then return to the US to get home, then thats the place to go! There is literally nothing to do when you get there, but its beautiful! Thank you guys for showing us that weird hiccup of the US/Canada. I can die happy now and i dont have to go through that hassle for myself! Taking one for the team! Awesome! Thanks! 😂
  • @moandjen
We love all the weirdness 😂 That’s a fun place to say you have been.
  • That was fun!!! It seemed to me like the Canadian Boarder guard was like, "The US fines you we only fine 1,000. Lol.. I'm glad you decided to go down that other road. Very cool hidden area. I would love to live in a cabin like those ones that were for rent. Now I can say I've been to the Northernmost Point! Come on, Canada!! At least put your broken phone in an enclosed booth out of the enviorment. Enjoyed it a lot!! Thanks for smuggling me in guys!!
  • @RagnarRocks
I think that reporting station by the dock is for people crossing the border by boat. I bet there are monster Pike out there! Are you sure that wasn't Rufus' phone booth?!?! 🤣
  • @dustinfindsrocks
I didn't know that this weird little north section of Minnesota existed! Looking forward to your Alaska adventures... but please! Wait till next summer if you're not headed there like this week LOL.

Still watching the video, and sounds like a fun jump in and out of America,m!! 😅 but to get to Pt. Roberts in WA ST, you also have to cross into British Columbia, turn west and then turn south to cross back into the US. Just a little point of land that happens to be south of the 49th parallel They had a heck of a time getting food during Covid cuz Canada closed their borders.
  • That was really interesting! I don’t know of anyone else who has been to that part of Minnesota. I thought the buoy was interesting. There is one in Key West marking the southernmost point of the contiguous U.S. Apparently that on normally has a long line of people wanting to make a selfie. I wonder if anything marks the eastern and westernmost points. Enjoy Canada!
  • That was interesting. I did not know there was a part of the USA that you had to leave the states into Canada and back again. Very pretty up in Minnesota at the Angle. Cabin prices were very affordable! That was kinda lame that you had to call and the mic was busted. Happy travels in Canada, my friends! Fart on!
  • @DeAnnBrooks

This is a very tiring and enjoyable experience. And I have been following this share from beginning to end, dear friends!.
  • @LowLightMike
Thanks for this video. I was on a bit of a "Border Oddities" run of YouTube videos, so yours was suggested. ....and now I'm working my way through some of your other videos too :) I'm a lifelong west coaster (Vancouver Island), so of course I need to point out that the west coast version of the Northwest Angle is Point Roberts, WA.
  • Thanks Adventure Closet for smuggling us in, nice tour of the most Northern point, the resorts looked nice, I bet fishing would have been fun. Alright a whole month of adventures in Canada. Have a blast exploring around. Safe travels see yall on the next one.
