"We should align our lives according to the scripture and not according to the culture." Loved this.

I totally agree on chores. We have 10 kids, all of whom were homeschooled and who did chores each day. They're all grown now and know how to work hard. Many of them have been amazed at how few other young people in their workplaces know how to work well. Of course I made mistakes as a mom, but the thing I am most glad we did was memorize Bible verses. No matter where our kids go, the word of God is in their hearts. And the word of God will not return void. And yes, let us not grow weary....that is one of my very favorite mothering verses!
  • I just realized that so many young girls don’t know how to cook because their parents are working all the time. But I’m so grateful to God that I got to be raised by my grandmother, cause she did take the time as she wasn’t working, to teach me step by step each thing, and cooking especially. I am so knowledgeable on home making and cooking because of her now. I never realized it until I watched your video. Thank you! And praise God!

"A kitchen that feeds a family will get messy many times throughout the day" YES! Let's normalise that life and house are not always nice and shiny, picture-perfect like sometimes we are pushed to believe! Lovely video of you and your family. I also agree with the fact that children should be given chores. Of course, measured to their abilities but if they don't learn at a young age, they will never learn, and also help them to be resilient and find happiness in accomplishing tasks.

I am not married and have no children yet. However, I aspire to be a wife and mother, as well as homeschool. This video has me in tears, your family is so beautiful and you are an amazing mother. God bless you all ❤️

We try to teach our kids the traditional skills and roles, too, but we also see many skills as basic survival skills and want to make sure that both girls and boys know them in case they end up single or widowed or anything. Cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, using basic woodworking tools, splitting firewood, checking oils from the car etc. Really nice content, happy that I found this channel!

I homeschooled 4 kids who are 16,18,20,22 now. My husband was a pastor for over 10 years and we enjoyed serving on mission together. I had the desks and fun classroom too…I will always treasure those years and I’m so thankful that they all love the Lord, work hard, are in college, driving, serving, and are close. It was the best decision ever! Children are a blessing! 💕
  • I'm Muslim and I really love your videos it's so encouraging I think this is really the right way to raise children. we must teach them responsibility and to love and understand their religion
  • I'm a newlywed and a fairly baby christian. Idk how many children the Lord wil bless me with and my career as a medical doctor will probably make it impossible for me to homeschool but it's honestly one of my biggest dreams to be able to care for my kids this way. You're blessed. Thank you for sharing! And may our Lord abundantly bless you and your family.

Reading a Proverb that corresponds to the day of the month… because there’s 31 Proverbs—that’s such a good idea!
  • Hello, I am a new subscriber and to be honest with you I came across this video by accident. Your clothes is what made me want to watch as they remindef me of a time that no longer exists. I'm a Christian too, but do not follow what I should follow, still it warms my heart to see that there are families like you out there. You truly are a role model for all. You are a breath of fresh air to me. May God keep you and your family safe!!!

I was welling up watching this with your VoiceOver of the poem and the scripture as your daughter was cleaning the kitchen. I have a sense that she has such a beautiful and gentle spirit. Praying for you and your family as you strive after God. Thank your for sharing this, from a homeschool mum of 2 (and hopefully more in the future!) from the UK!
