America’s Great Loop, the 6,000-mile circumnavigation of Eastern North America, is the adventure of a lifetime. This is our story as we bought a boat with zero experience and how we became Gold. It wasn’t easy or simple. We had many setbacks, challenges, and curve balls, as only life on the water combined with the ambitious plan of something only a few get to achieve.

Today, we cross our wake and officially become Gold Loopers.

Thanks for watching!

Cheers,
Jennifer and Elliot

ABOUT US
Hi! We are high school sweethearts from Atlanta, Georgia who decided to take a year off to travel around the world. Together we decided to create vlogs for our journey as a fun way to remember it. On September 15, 2019, we left Atlanta with 3 bags, 2 one-way tickets, and 1 goal of traveling for a whole year. Little did we know, 6 months later we would find ourselves in a nationwide lockdown in India. After spending 5 months in India, we came back to the United States and decided to purchase a 34’ Trawler, dive headfirst into boat life, and kick-off America’s Great Loop.
The good, the bad, the ugly – and most importantly, the real and real funny. We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.”, just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem.

Thank you for following us along our journey!

This is going to be my guilty pleasure tonight - some comfort food, some comfy sweats, and the long-anticipated finale to a trip I have been on vicariously for the past 2+ years. I know it’ll be worth the wait!
  • @Walton760.
Not even 10 minutes into this, this is Netflix material! Nicely done, worth the wait!
  • WHAT A GIFT!! It simply cannot be underscored enough how you two: 1.) Learned to boat on the fly; 2.) Sailed the entire Great Loop (!!!); 3.) Held down your careers; AND, 4.) Documented the whole experinece over two years in a professional and consistent manner. I mean, simply amazing. This is the DEFINITVE YouTube resource for the Great Loop. Absoultely nothing comes close--and I've watched them all. Thank you for your commitment to see this through and for respecting your viewers by always---ALWAYS---providing high-quality content. Kudos!

The crew of WITNESS popped some corn, poured some drinks, and savored every minute of this tonight. By far the very best Great Loop video we have ever seen. You captured the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows and painted a very real picture of loop life. You made us want to do it again (but with all the wisdom we now have). We want to be more like you in your positivity and approach to life and eagerness to help others. Congratulations on the end of this chapter, hearty crew of Pivot. Thanks for sharing this journey and inspiring us all. Well done. ❤
  • @arnieku
This was an absolute treat to watch. Not only did your boating skills evolve, but your vidiography skills as well. Your editing, narration and music choices we just awesome. You brought this 66 year old man to tears more than once. The great loop is once again a goal. Thank you for reviving that dream.
  • We CANNOT wait to watch this tonight! 🥳 We know y’all have been working SO HARD behind the scenes to bring this masterpiece to life! 💪🏼 You three are a constant inspiration and we cannot express just how proud we are of the two of you! Going from zero boating experience to tackling The Loop, even with the many setbacks and challenges along the way, is beyond admirable. We love you three and cannot wait for many adventures together soon ❤️

There is no word in the English language to describe the magnificence of this video. Have been following your journey since Lake Michigan, filling in earlier videos as you traveled on. Thank you for sharing this adventure. Godspeed on your future adventures.
  • @garymost6255
“The mountain in front of you will soon be the mountain behind you…” Love it. What a fantastic recap. Congratulations on your accomplishment and thanks for taking us along with you on this adventure!
  • @tonypalazzo7798
We followed you the whole trip. Congratulations! Our Loop starts September 2025. Thank you for all the great videos .
  • @randleski
2.5 hours?! That's fantastic! I've been waiting weeks for this! Can't wait to watch!
  • @Dana0331
I've watched many YouTubers journeys of The Great Loop. Some had finished, some had not. I've watched your journey from day one.Ive enjoyed every moment. Anticipating every video. Happy and sad to see you finish the loop. Thank you so much for sharing . Wishing you the best on your next Pivot.
  • @jimmitchell641
Thank you for allowing me to share your journey. At 85 I thought that my bucket list would not come true but you two changed that. God bless. Jim❤
  • @karikarr6377
Just, wow. I have been so proud of your growth over the past couple of years, but seeing it all compressed into a short timeline truly magnified how far you have come. Experiencing travel adventures is one thing; becoming competent mariners is another, and you did both. Even though my partner and I have more than 30 years of boating experience, we are still students, and we thank you for all we’ve learned watching how you managed the myriad challenges that are part of boating. This was a sensational retrospective, well worth the wait, and your comment about the mountain at the end is going to become a mantra for me. Thank you both for sharing this journey, and I hope you’ve framed the tattered white AGLCA flag. ❤😊
  • @richardoates5435
In the smallest of ways glad to be part of your journey. Congratulations. For doing what few have done.
  • @KnoxWill
OMG, just finished watching. Such great storytelling. I remembered so many of the clips as we have traveled the loop with you over the past 2 years. So happy for you and prayers for your new adventure. Thanks so much for the joy you have given us watching your journey.
  • @ericdavis7523
So I am all of 3 minutes into the video and I just want to say that your "Pivot" was inspiring to my family and we actually coined a phrase ourselves after a rather painful travel experience. We called it Plan D, as our last name starts with a D. It means to us that as long as we are together we can get though anything and has gotten us through many difficult times. Currently it is our battle cry for our newest adventure. So thank you so much for influencing us with Pivot!
  • @kaseyanderson129
We finally have an end to this chapter of a wonderful journey. You guys are amazing! Good luck in journeys to come!
  • @Artist_Kevin
Congratulations. Thank you for sharing your journey and experiences with everyone. You've inspired a whole new set of loopers.
