The part they don't want you to know is that meter is just a coupling. The old school ones are a the phase prong. They just slip a plastic cover so it doesn't make a circuit. Either way the arm on the side makes a circuit and is just there to slip the meter on .

By the way the flipper zero has a decent nfc card reader so if you want the better thing get the pro mark 3 but if you want the simpler thing get the flipper zero
