The interviewer had no right to tell him to look at her when he was talking. A lot of people with anxiety don't cope with eye contact (and we know how bad his anxiety is and was) though back im the day people were less sensitive and conscious of mental health I guess

He did very well.The breathing,the calming mechanisms.Very professional when put in such an environment.He doesn't know how inspirational he is to we who share his affliction.

Hate to see him fidget and be uncomfortable. You wouldn't see it if you didn't know. Hate he struggled with anxiety and stuff. He's such an amazing artist. His brain is incredible. Really. Doesn't hurt that he's freaking beautiful!

I’m crying watching this.😭 He’s the cutest and he’s so sweet. He has such a gentle voice. I wish I could hear him live but that’s never gonna happen again. 😔 But good for him for realizing that performing was anxiety inducing for him. ❤️

"whats under ur eye daniel" He made the hot shower excuse but i had mad anxiety my whole teen hood and he was touching his face for that reason and thats why he laughed, im so glad hes doing well all these years later american media deserve him.

Even after she interrupted instead of listening to his Alien story he still listened to hers. I hope she looks back on this now and sees how unaware and switched off she was.

I hate this interviewer. She is rude , He was just a boy. Correcting him all the time was so annoying and almost unbearable to watch.

He should not have been put through this. The interviewer is a characterless robot that makes the whole thing stifling, and yet he is so tolerant, his bright, warm character coming through despite it and even through his struggle. Poor sweetheart

That much success. Was too much for their age. Its crazy to watch this and see him now after the release of futurenever and the struggles he's had to overcome. I hope that the album's success keeps him in a good headspace going forwards

Listening to him at 16 on “Cemetery” really is amazing. As an aussie born in the 80’s there’s crazy nostalgia from watching this. ❤️❤️🤘
