Teachers have it so bad man, everyone clowns on them saying how easy their job is. But having to control 30+ kids and try and get them to listen, respect and understand you to be able to even begin to teach them is borderline impossible, and at the end of the day if they don't do well in the classes it reflects badly on them too

As a 24 year old teacher, sometimes you have to shout and threaten a removal from the lesson as that's the only way you can be heard. The noise and disrespect in some classrooms is horrible. But still love the job, and I'm still incredibly passionate about teaching. one of the most stressful jobs but also one of the most rewarding.

the bus driver is definitely valid in his yelling. when i was in elementary school, there was a kid who cracked his skull because he was out of his seat when the bus was moving.

Teachers don't get paid enough for the sh*t they go through. I've seen countless students that are pure annoyance in the classroom.

As a teacher I must say. When you have asked a student politely more than 5 times to do or not do something, and you try to talk to them like and adult, and they are still not listening to you, it is infuriating, and it's so difficult not to shout at them like you would with another human

In the US, teachers work countless hours off the clock, get paid barely minimum wage for the on-the-clock work they do, and have to take on the role of teacher, child psychologist, chaperone, and stand-in parent for twenty kids, 7 hours a day, and kids STILL try their best to hassle them whenever possible. If that was my life, I'd probably have a Karen freakout, too.

10:25 I heard her say “do not throw peanuts” at the start of her rant, so fair play that rage is warranted because that’s one of the most dangerous foods to try to throw around, because usually when someone has a peanut allergy, it’s quite serious.

9:02 Covid zoom classes where fun… tech difficulties, teachers who didn’t understand the tech, pretending to have a broken device, calling in sick, plagiarising homework, getting top marks on tests cuz u have the study material beside u, playing games while the teacher talks, also I didn’t turn my camera on once… fun times
