Levy County Sheriff's Deputy Kanesha Carnegie saw three men stop to help an 89-year-old woman and her 100-year-old husband to their car in a Florida parking lot this week. She said she had to stop and film the touching moment. "I went over to assist them, and when I got there ... they kind of had it under control," she explained. "I thought at the time they looked really beautiful and that was a nice view to see. I stepped back and I just videoed them." #InsideEdition

I like how the elderly gentleman says I'm a 100 years old and one of the guys says you're still doing it man.

“You’re 100 years old?Yet you’re doing it, that’s good” That is incredibly touching
  • That young man's parting words..."You take it easy mama". That caught my heart ❤. Glad this went viral. Shows the parents of these three young men what a wonderful job they did raising them!
  • Those boys did the right thing, and were probably raised right by their parents/grandparents.

Seeing the husband still try to help his wife despite his own disability 😭 My heart!

When the young dude said, "Take it easy, momma", is what warmed my heart.

That elderly man was getting around pretty quickly with his walker. 100 years old! These young men were raised up properly.
  • This isn't surprising. Respecting the elderly is taken very seriously in the black community.

My people will call a daughter, niece, a younger girl cousin, someone’s baby girl who we may see in public, and even an elderly woman “Momma” 😂What a beautiful sight to allow the world to see one reason why we value our men. 🥰
  • I'm a 43 year old man when I begin watching this I had to look away because it started to bring tears to my eyes tears of joy to see these young black men taking responsibility and showing how to be kind and show their heart towards others I can only hope other young black men see this and they touch their heart and inspire them to humble themselves and show that meek kind loving part of a soul

The young men's parents should be proud. They raised gentlemen.

When i was in my early 20s I was in line behind a woman at Walmart. She had RA to the point where her hands were like fruit roll ups. They just curved in on themselves. I was like two people behind her. After I got checked out I went to my car with my groceries, and in the parking lot I saw her, still trying to get her trunk open. I stopped and opened her trunk for her, then she asked if I could start her car. It was before push starts and she couldnt get the key in the ignition. She used one of those knobs bus drivers use to drive. I think about that lady all the time and hope she got someone to help her full time. She was so nice. Just stop and help random people when you can. It will stick with you.

That "Take it easy Momma" is probably equivalent to when an older black woman calls you "Baby" 😭❤

The old man still trying his best to support his wife that’s lovely.

We need more of this kind of news brought to front pages. These men were most definitely raised right. Hats off to them 💙
  • It's nice to see these men being portrayed in this positive way and not the way we normally see them when it comes to the media: as criminals or prisoners. Thank you so much for sharing!
