Karen Gillan is a very underrated actress

I'm definitely watching. Have an elderly parent who is completely bed bound so understand the nuances and the embarassment of getting old.

Took care of my partner, took care of my mother. Kevin Nealon’s line about the happy times hits home. Plus, Karen Gillan is delightful!

I had a double hip replacement at 14 again at 29 then twice at 33. My knee at 22. Ive encountered a lot of older people in hospital. I think being old before my time i dont fear it as much as most people. I met a lot of older people who lashed out at people because they were so used to independence. This is def on my watch list.

I wish people would stop casting her with a US accent. She sounds better and is funnier with her Scottish accent.

Looks like a wholesome movie

From the Thumbnail and title, What I thought was going to be a trailer for an actress (KG) having a run in an obligatory silly/raunchy comedy at this point in her successful career, looks like a quality, heartfelt movie. Looking forward to it.

Loved her with Matt Smith Doctor who.

I think it's a testament to Ms. Gillan's acting chops that she can do fun and quirky like this, and yet is also the most morose and serious character in her role as Nebula in the MCU. She's amazing!

I was in my early 20s when I befriended a cranky older woman in her 70s while working at a private care center. She was physically elderly with so much pain and uncontrollable functions, but boy did she have a young personality and fiery spirit! She also had an amazing mind and a beautiful heart. She and I would hang out every chance we got. After I quit, I still went to visit her or we'd go shopping. It was like hanging out with any other friend, she was just in an older body and going through a different stage in life. Before we became friends I was new to Utah and she was pretty lonely. Gina was her name. She liked smoking cigarettes and talking mad shit :-)

This movie and Thelma are on my watch list. Seeing dignity given to tough older women is my jam.

So Karen Gillan's is pretty much American now, her accent is spot on.

I recently lost my grandmother, and God, I wish we would have connected like this. Made me cry. will def be watching!

It's like that one Family Guy episode where Brian has to take care of an elderly lady and after hating it at first he discovers that she has more to her than just being old💁

Karen Gillan is a good actress. But those whom don't understand, this is a story about an age care worker (someone whom takes care of a elderly person). This movie, is being done for a reason. I'll let you figure it out.
