This should be commercialized on national tv. People often restrain and put spoons on the persons mouth while on seizure.

My boyfriend has epilepsy so this helps. Luckily he hasn’t had any at my home yet. I would be frightened but anything for him to be okay.

This is very important to a person that have epilepsy. I also have epilepsy since birth.

My mom has epilepsy..its scary but this video helps me under more..last time she had one she was sleeping. When she is sleeping it scares me the most..i pray to God it stops when she gets a seizure. I turn her on her side and when it stop I ask her whats her name and that she is fine..then I give her water after 20 minutes to hydrate her

This is very well done! Many people have not a clue what to do. Carole

Thank you for what you tell, it was great for me to hear, even though I am in Sweden, it gives me more security even for everyone in the rest of the world. It's nice that more people can understand what epilepsy is and how they can help us. I have epilepsy and have decided to tell people what epilepsy is and how they can help us. No one knows how or why one can suffer epilepsy.

i have seizures. This is good information to get out. Thank you from Topeka, Kansas

You should automatically put someone on their side, in case they throw up during the seizure( it's happened to me, even if your not ill) or haven't swallowed in a while. Other than that, it's very good advice.

Also if the person is pregnant, diabetic or it happened in water call paramedics right away

thanks a lot for this video, my boyfriend is not troubled with epilepsy but couple months ago he was in a motorbike accident in which he didn't got any serious injuries but he was sleeping couple weeks ago and when he awoke he had a seizure I was so scared didn't know what to do thank God he went to hospital right away he even bit his tongue, it was so frightening
-
Some people think you have to make sure they don't swallow their tongue during the seizure. They don't realise it's impossible to swallow your tongue its literally attached to you.
-
Moral of the story: always have a watch or a smartphone

When my mother was having a seizure, I was helping to do keeping side with her. I put a cushion on her head to keep her not get damaged. And check to see how long her seizure much second or minutes. When her seizure is done, she's waking up and her mind goes to gets to remember my name who was at her side.
