Most people cite that a dehydrated egg tastes gritty, when an egg was scrambled first, then dehydrated and processed to powder and then reconstituted. I don't know - I've never had either. But I just got a dehydrator and watched videos like yours to learn the process. Yours is one of the most informative and helpful in guiding us newbies. THANK YOU for taking the time to do this. You're an incredible human being. Good Teachers & Instructors are always awesome!

Thank you so much for this informative video, I am just starting to dehydrate eggs because I have so many. Your presentation really helped me a lot!
  • Awesome idea. You'll also have more room in your fridge. Egg cartons can take up so much room. Enjoyed your taste test. Love that you showed beginning to end result. Always a pleasure ❤
  • 15:05 LOL! This video was awesome. So many good tips to ensure you get ALL the moisture out of them. The worst thing would be to open these up later and have such a precious commodity (eggs) have mold on them. Also, I found the pacing/timing of the video just perfect. You fast forwarded when I wanted you to, and gave extra details and tips when they were relevant. So many tips in this video that I wouldn't have thought of if I was doing this for the first time myself. Honestly, this is the perfect video!
  • Good to see you Sherry I so need to get a new dehydrator mine is very old. Great video that is another good way of storing eggs I froze and water glassed some. keep up the great work and stay warm. ✌

Awesome video. I don’t even have chickens, but this makes me want to dry some eggs anyways…haha

Heyyy! I was so happy to see you posted a new video! Wow, this is interesting, especially if you have an abundance of eggs! Great idea!!! Hope you'll continue to make new videos!! I missed them!
  • Been a subscriber, but never commented. You did a great job on this video. I've done the "recommended" ABC agencies here in states way yrs ago of first scrambling with no oil, total epic fail! Texture is disgusting. I am that dummy that filled trays out of the dehydrator, it was a nasty mess, lol!! You're spot on with that advice. For those who can't afford the silicone trays, I bought small cookie sheets from Walmart cheap, I cut parchment paper to fit inside, crumple it so it doesn't curl and is a little above lip of tray on all sides. It's worked for me. Also, in the excalibur, I have older ones, fan is at top, bottom tray is always last to finish, I move trays around to get more even drying. Hope that helps someone.
  • Great video and info! I'm a new subscriber! BTW I also have a small gardening channel 🌽🥒🍅🍆🥕
