HoBao Hyper 7 TQ backyard running

I'm quickly starting to really like nitro over electric, Though I can't say I'd recommend a beginner buy this car. It has attractive features such as a .28 engine, an old, but still highly tunable, racing design, a low price point for a nitro RTR, and a well equipped 2.4ghz radio system, however the pull start failed on tank 2 of break in, the bearing included with the pull-start back plate is poor quality and leaks, requiring replacement, and in the two months I've currently owned this car, HoBao support has been very poor. I've yet to hear back about the broken pull start, or now, even the broken roto-start back plate that will be a $25 replacement, that hasn't been on the car more than two weeks. That aside however, If you plan on swapping to a bump box and non pull start back plate, this car really is great.

Looks like a fun backyard to run an rc car
  • After running nitro for a year or so, how do you feel about it now over electric?
