‘The Five’: Kristi Noem defends killing farm pup

One thing that liberals and conservatives can agree on: you don't shoot a puppy for acting like... a puppy.

Glad Noem wrote this in her book. It's like Cricket reaching out from the grave and getting some revenge.

Funnily enough, I think she united Democrats and Republicans over her evil action towards the dog.

She not only ended the dog's life, her career is following suit

I’m a farmer and a republican. Yes, sometimes you have to put down some animals but this is a puppy. It’s not funny. She could have paid for the chickens like I have done in my past when one of my dogs got a chicken. If she didn’t like the dog, then she should have gave him away to a responsible person that could train the dog, not shoot it.

Then she also shot a goat literally a minute later... for smelling bad. No red flags for anyone?

I grew up on a farm & my Dad. We NEVER killed an animal except to eat or due to a BAD injury! She lost my support over her publicing that.

There is no excuse for an act like that! It's disgusting especially her cold reasoning behind the killing. She should have re-homed the puppy. She has blown her chances at a political future. Way too many animal lovers on both sides!

Don't excuse this inhumane treatment. This isn't a political issue. This is an act of cruelty which should be seen for what it is!

Don't stick up for Kristi Noem....get her out of office....Get it right Fox News....

Two bad judgements. 1.) Not taking it to the vet or giving it away. 2.) Disclosing it at all.

There are a lot of dog lovers in this country and politics aside hate people like this. She pretty much killed her political career

She trained a dog to go after pheasant!!! It chased another kind of bird! It’s a puppy!!!!

Tip from growing up on farms. 1.) When you are a millionaire, you call a vet to euthanize an animal. 2.) You act like she made a hard choice…she called the dog useless and she said she hated it. 3.) People aggression and animal aggression aren’t the same thing. If the dog bit her while hunting, it most certainly was just too excited. MANY police dogs occasionally bite their handler in the field. Not because they are mean but because they are still young and excited. She shows no compassion, no guilt and no intelligence. Goodbye.

I used to think Kristi Noem was pretty, but, now knowing that she murdered those animals, she looks evil.
