  • Thank you , your video brings to mind the story of the tortoise and the hare 😊

Right on. Just listen the Vernon Howard - complete honest un-learning. β€œThere is a way out” - Vernon Howard

β€œResting is wasting time, the mind will say.” I love how you laughed at that; and it made me laugh too πŸ˜†Because it’s so true. Thank you πŸ€—
  • Advanced lecture. Careful now - seeing ones true self and the environment they are in can be an overwhelming matter. The one thing I'm finding out is that it does take real strength of character to understand your situation. And then how to properly deal with making improvements on yourself and your world.

Yet so many doors to awareness opening, like never before, like this one.

Your channel is very healing, thank you for sharing ❀
  • Hi HC, Society - the blind leading the blind! How to wake up all these 'people'?! Your attempt at helping with these videos is greatly honored here. The gaps/silence in your videos are the best parts.πŸ™β€
  • Its about resting in the present, its about not being distracted, its about being fully engaged as you let go. Pace or speed is extraneous and secondary, the real issue is to release the tension of distraction. We are distracted by the delusion of other - other things, other people, other events, other time. There is no other. To be present is to be without the delusion of other, without the distraction of other. If you perfect that then speed or pace is irrelevant... or simply relative. πŸ™β€

Eckhart Tolle says to, "just be." Not thinking. You call it resting. Iam all in. Becoming human again. Not a product or producer. Money chaser. I like the calm. ❀
  • Perfect pace, perfect laugh, perfect points : all is perfect ! Thank you.
  • Thank you for your video, I really like it and agree with that so much. ❀ Exactly as you said , I got addicted to watching social media/my phone in the worst and longest lockdown in Melbourne Victoria. Yes, I don’t want to go for holiday anymore because it is depressing to be coming back into the fast no making sense big city reality…. I like resting and I feel weird because I don’t want to run as the rest of the society in the hamster wheel ….I had enough

Your slower speed and pauses are appropriate here because they allow a slow absorption of the points you are making. There are limits to this; if for example you moved and spoke at the pace of flash the sloth in Zootopia (2016 animated movie), you would frustrate some impatient bunny rabbits I’m sure. πŸ˜…

we understand quantity. we don't understand quality. so we go faster.

It's funny because the cure is to stop and be silent, not escapism. They come back from vacation more exhausted than when they left. But they can tell people they went and that's all that matters to them. Other people will know they're awesome and not boring. Yet the people they tell have forgotten an hour later and don't really care.
  • Me having to watch this at 2x is the reason I needed this video πŸ˜‚

I like how David Lynch grinds : 24h days when he's making a movie, leaves a trace and legacy for humanity , but then takes it slowly the rest of the life (meditation, making things in his shed, drinking coffee.........) Everybody should be like David Lynch and we would have heaven on Earth imho.
