2 idiots above! OU owns you guys- the only time u beat them is when they didn’t have a qb- they break your hearts most of the timw
  • @russ9761
U guys changed your thoughts on this kid because you didn’t get him - you fools - be men and give the kid his due- he will be a 1st rounder. OU will beat you again with a qb- at the end of the game.
  • We sound full blown ag when we say it’s all about money. Just wish the kid well and say see ya in October. Sark can get what he wants on O, we’re just not there on D recruiting yet. Ken Baker has a chance to prove himself on the biggest stage this year and maybe change that. The two AZ kids are warm bodies, maybe he can transform them.

Texas is still known for playing second fiddle to OU !!
  • Proof Texas only wins in Dallas when OU's starting QB ran out of eligibility in the prior season or had a injury that causes him to miss the RRRS game at the cotton bowl... 2005 Texas WIN... starting Sooners QB from 2001-2004 Jason White 2003 Heisman winner and 2004 3rd runner up (behind 2nd Adrian Peterson) had played or started in 37 games and ended up with 8000 yards and 81 TD's.. OU started Rhett Bomar and the Texas games way the 5th game at OU and if you look at the Sooners 2004 depth chart OU lost 7 started on offense and 8 on Defense and of those 15.. 11 were drafted and 5 of those were in the first 2 rounds. 2006 Texas WIN... starting Sooners QB that was a backup from 2002-2005 behind Heisman winner Jason White and had an average of 15 pass Attempts and 150 yards a season for 2002, 2003 and 2005 and the 2006 RRS was Paul Thompsons 5th start as a Sooner QB. If you look at the 2005 dpeth chart the Sooners lost 7 on offense 3 on the O-line and 4 on the defense. But again afrer the suddn loss of Rhett Bomar adays before the 2006 season began and Paul thompson was appointed the starter with zero starts under his belt. 2008 Texas WIN... The Sooners lost 8 startes on defense and 4 of those were all conference 5 on offense. So QB Sam Bradford lost his favorite WR Malcom Kelly which went in the 2nd round in the NFL while Texas starting QB Colt Mccoy was in his 28th Start. 2009 Texas WIN.... starting QB from 2007-2009 Sam Bradford 2008 Heisman 8400 yards and 88 TD's played 1st series of the 2009 RRS and play 1 full series and reinjured his shoulder on the 1st play of the 2nd series and he was replace with red shirt freshman Laundry Jones which had seen only 3 games before replacing Sam Bradford in the RRS game. If you look at the Sooners 2008 depth chart you will see OU lost to eligibility the ENTIRE offensive line and 8 total on the offense and 5 on the defense. 2013 Texas WIN..... starting Sooners FR Trevor Knight was inured in the 2nd game of the season with a knee sprain and JR TE from 2013 -2014 Laundry Jones played QB in 7 game in 2013 and started in Dallas, But both Trevor and Blake replaced a QB Laundry Jones that was a starter from 2009-2012 and ended up with almost 17,000 yards and 123 TD's and 4th round NFL draft pick. 2015 Texas WIN.... starting 1st year Baker Mayfield and Texas was a 17 point betting underdog (AND TEXAS ON A 3 GAME LOSING STREAK) where Texas had lost to @Notre Dame 38-3 at home in it's opening game.... the 3 game losing streak began to Cal 45-44 at home to OSU 30-27 and it's first BLOW OUT @TCU 50-7 then Texas has to be pissed being blown out TWICE already as the head to the cotton bowl. Texas loses 3 more after the RRS where Texas get SHUT OUT 24-0 @ISU which finished 3-9 that year and @West Virginia and at home by Texas Tech 48-45 2018 Texas WIN........... Big 12 conference championship game Arlington December 1 2018 Sooners 39 Texas 27 for the Sooners 14the Big 12 title. 2022 Texas WIN...... After losing starting QB Dillion Gabriel to a targeting penalty in the prior game @ TCU where the player was ejected and Gabriel was out for the 2022 RRS under the concussion protocol and OU was forced to start the worst QB in the RRS in the history of OU QB's.... When TBOW left for USC in 2021. The Sooner lost to the portal 5 star and future Heisman and 2024 1st pick in the NFL draft and a 5 star WR that went with him to USC ALSO 5 another 5 star QB which left the QB room EMPTY.. that was a starter at South Carolina and 8 other 4 star players and 15 in total that went to other teams.

again have fun missing the 12 team this year. These programs are headed different ways. Sorry you don’t see it. Texas has the most recent title and appearance. And should have won it. Guess we will see what happens this year. Jackson hasn’t shown anyone 5 minutes of good play. All good teams have their down decade. I’m afraid OU is about to enter another one. Texas is doing everything better than OU right now. Sorry.
