I really like that heart shape even it didn't go like you wanted. And maybe those other two can be fixed somehow like layering inside bottom with colored resin? That could hide blobs anyway.

The creator has a vision of what they want, and if the result doesn't fit that vision, it can be really disappointing. That being said, even though these didn't turn out how you wanted them to, they still look good to me. Those are really nice molds. :) I find it interesting to see how resin moves in castings.

it might just be the resin you used. they are formulated differently for different applications. i like teexpert resins, although i have never tried anything like this with them. lets resin brand seems to be pretty good as well from what i've seen on other channels. they have a formulation out specifically for the petri effect which may work well for this. i have not tried any of their products yet, so i can't say for sure. i do hope you try this again.

I like them, they're not too horrible 😁 Are you going to try again? I agree with other comments, I think the resin was too far gone. And also, thank you for sharing, it's actually nice to know that everyone has a disaster every now and then 😂 It's like "woohoo Meghan is hooman like the rest of us mere mortals" 🤣

I’m not an expert either but my guess would be that your resin was too thick. This is how we learn, we get back on the horse and try again! Don’t be so hard on yourself. Maybe if you put a thin layer of black on the back they will look better. They don’t look that bad. Please don’t call yourself stupid 😞, you are a wonderful person.
