i have the book , and Ashley's testimony was one I resonated strongly with. To be able to think that quickly, on your feet, while being manipulated and coerced by a sexual assaulter is a rare skill.

She was also in line to play Catwoman in the spin off after Michelle Pfeiffer dropped out. For whatever reason that version of the film never got made and instead we got that piece of crap film with Halle Berry. So I guess we all know who to blame for that mess.

Everyone in Hollywood knows and came out AFTER Ashley. She is my hero, or shall I say, Shero! Now that Hollywood knows why she was blacklisted, let’s see her in more films! Where are the Female producers, casting directors, etc. ? We should be seeing this A List actor all over the place now!

Wow. And yet it's 2023 & this is still so rampant. Always liked Judd-- BUG & others-- she's amazing to have stuck to her guns, spoke out as soon as he did that, then write about it, then come forward yet again, then to end up in this film, which I've got to see. We inhabit an entirely different earth than men.

Excellent Carey Mulligan movie. The Ashley Judd story is one of my favorite scene in the new She Said film. Also, I would recommend Bombshell with Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie if you can upload it, along with the sixth Scream movie, the third Creed film, the new Shazam! Fury of the Gods movie, Everything Everywhere all at once with Jamie Lee Curtis, the original 1987 version of The Stepfather with Terry O'Quinn, the original 1980 version of Friday the 13th, the John Carpenter 1982 version of The Thing with Kurt Russell, Fatal Attraction with Michael Douglas and Glenn Close, and Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt.
