In this video, I will be showing you a step by step process of how to draw the portraits, more specifically the female face using basic shapes and easy to understand guidelines. This video also covers how to draw eyes, nose and mouth in a beginner friendly way, but with enough detail to allow customisation of each portrait drawing you create.

For example, you can draw different head shapes like an oval shape, a square shape or a heart shaped face. This tutorial also talks about how simple changes to shapes can create different kinds of eyes. For example, big round eyes, almond shaped eyes, downturned eyes, monolid and much more. With simple shapes and lines, you can create your very own portrait drawings.

Drawing was always a passion of mine that I've never attempted due to a limiting belief when growing up. Now in my early 20's I've finally decided to start and knowing well that all the worthwhile things in life require time. Have drew my first face drawing and it was cringe but at the same time so liberating, excited to draw for hours and learn. Thank you so much!
