I don't think Necar Zadegan is suited to play Jasmine, firstly because Jasmine's skin is a bit darker than Necar; secondly, Necar is almost 35 years old, she can't play a princess like Jasmine who's no older than 22-23y.o. at most.

There are plenty of Afro-American actresses who would be better fitted to play Tiana. I love me Lupita Nyong'o but Keke Palmer, Aja Naomi King, Shanice Williams, etc. would have been perfect for the role of Tiana. Maybe a little bit more research into Afro-American actresses and you would have found the perfect Tiana.
